Osgood is a Legend.

#2008504 TSN: Discussion of Modano To Wings

If Modano signs with the Wings, I think this year's team would be on a mission to win the Cup just for him.

Our team is basically set in stone. We're the losing 2009-2010 Red Wings with the addition of Hudler.

#2001582 Nice little article on our 2010/11 lines...

"Filppula" and "potential" in the same sentence. Hmm.

He'll be put on a top line when he plays consistently at a top line level.

If you put him with good players then yes, he plays very well. On the other hand when you put him with scrubs like Cleary, who can't finish, then his potential is lost.

Oh look Marian Hossa finally got a goal in the playoffs....too bad he couldn't score for us last year when it mattered.

I'd offer Lidstrom 1.5-2.5 mil, take it or leave.

I'm not going to doubt Osgood on this one, if he has a bad game, he has a bad game. I'm not going to be too hard him given the fact this is the first time he's going to be playing in a non-practice environment in forever.

Prove all the haters wrong Ozzie!

#1918909 Filppula or Hudler

Have you even seen a Wings game between 2006 and 2009? Hudler's definitely a better passer. Filppula can hold on to the puck much, much, much better but in terms of making a smart saucer pass I'll take Hudler first.

But Hudler could never skate the puck from the neutral zone int the offensive zone. Zetterberg, Datsyuk, and Filppula are the only one's on the Wings that can do it.

Filppula better skater, better defensively, better fit for NHL..
Hudler more skills and better shot, better passer.

Hmm equally good but speed is so important for NHL'ers these days...

You have to be kidding...
