And did anyone else think when Craig Berube bent down to draw up a play his hair made him look like the boss from Dilbert?

If the Wings win I'll post Alice's Restaurant after the game.

I will

The Wings are gonna go into Columbus, take those two points as they should, play good defense, net a couple power play goals and jump back ahead of Boston by a point with one game in hand.

Jack Edwards can get his loudmouth bag-ass online in the morning and worry about wildcard matchups, not me.

I love when we beat the Devils, walking the dog with a Wings sweater or hat is so awesome.

Good point on the road against a good team who plays well at home. Still, as someone pointed out if the Wings had won and MTL lost they'd be tied for first in Conf. I, like many here would like to see a top six scorer added but in the meantime there doesn't appear to be any need to panic or rush into a bad deal. Injuries haven't piled up, certainly like last year, and Jimmy's playing better.

So far so good.

Isn't this like the 13th game of the season?

So he's on pace for a 69pt season, get your s*** together!

I was told there would be no math...

Watch AHL goaltender come up with inventive way to break up 2-on-0

By: Jared Clinton on November 3, 2014

There’s a lot of ways to break up a 2-on-1, like sliding to block a pass or an aggressive poke check. When it comes to a 2-on-0, it gets a little bit more difficult, but veteran American League netminder David Leggio has a few ideas.

Leggio, who is playing his first season with Islanders affiliate Bridgeport Sound Tigers, had to think quickly as Springfield Falcons forwards Dana Tyrell and Lukas Sedlak came barreling down on him on a shorthanded 2-on-0:

As Stannis Baratheon on Game of Thrones might say:

"The Kings are nothing but usurpers to the Wings rightful crown."

You just knew it would be MSU's Justin Abdelkader who had the big goals after Ovechkin came out in the pre-game and drove a tent stake in the ice.

#2544901 Weiss sent down to GR- conditioning assignment

I fear Weiss is headed to the Island of Misfit Red Wings toys to join a water gun that squirts jelly, Bill Ranford, Uwe Krupp, Mike Modano, a spotted elephant, Robert Lang, Wendel Clark, Derian Hatcher, and a cowboy who rides an ostrich.

The zombie is obviously Weiss, you can tell by the way he's sitting there not doing anything.

How many people here are from out of town? Flying am I right?

#2544188 Anyone attended a game in Nashville?

Posted by Jersey Wing on 24 October 2014 - 10:21 AM

I have to say downtown Nashville after a game right along Broad St. is one of the best cities to be in after a game. I'm not kidding. All the food and music choices after a Preds game downtown is wonderful.
