These refs were terrible calling that a penalty. The announcers were right earlier about human error and how tough it is to be a ref. However, not calling the game concistently is entirely on the refs. They saw that little ***** boy St. Louis dive, and didn't call it. No human error there.
There is a huge difference between "human error" and gross incompetence to the point of seeming like a conspiracy.
I hate this league. You call the dive a few minutes earlier and then let St. Louis get away with it in overtime. That was an obvious embellishment, but of course it wouldn't be a Wings game without the refs stealing a point or two.
Such bulls*** how many times this has happened already in only 13 games. These guys have less accountability than politicians.
The Wings have controlled play in the third, made one stupid mistake and now have to beat Lundqvist late somehow. That poor start and costly decision making is a bad combination when you struggle to score goals.
