That's impossible considering your track record of hating Ovie and loving Crosby. You have zero credibility.

And the people that love Ovie and hate crosby have better credibility?

Stupid play by Ovechkin.

And proof that the league isn't afraid to suspend stars in the league...as long as they're the "right" stars to suspend.

Or the said player has a pretty long list of past offenses that were pretty serious...

How did he get away with it? He got 5 and a game.

Get away in the sense of the media and fans.

It seems no one wants to hold him accountable for his actions.

Crosby was brought up because your views are obviously very bias. You stick up for Crosby all the time, why cant he do the same for Ovechkin? Realistically, someone that hits a lot is not much worse than someone who dives a lot.

This. Has. Nothing. To. Do. With. Crosby.

And I defend Crosby because I do believe that whining and diving is less serious then potentially ending players careers on a laundry list of borderline hits.

But again, let's focus on Ovechkin. I do not want to talk about Crosby.

Way to promote yourself NHL.

Kick the best player in the world out of the game.

Because the NHL controls Ovechkin's actions or anything.

It's not their fault the player has no respect.

I know right? He would be so much more respectable if he dove all the time and cried when things don't go his way.

Get out, Sidney.

Why even bring up Crosby?

Are you going to try and defend Ovechkin? How many times is Ovechkin going to get away with an unintentional borderline hit, it's not like he's never did anything wrong before?

Ovechkin is such a cheap player.

Just goes around cheapshotting people and hiding behind refs.

It makes me sick to think there are actually people that like how he plays. It's disgusting.

Is anyone else getting stupid down-votes on their profile due to people spamming the + - buttons for replies? Fight back by adding a + on good posts you read. :) I'm doing it but obviously I can't + my own posts.

Yeah, there is no hope. People are just going to downvote things the disagree with.

So unless you want to agree with everyone, you're going to have a negative reputation unfortunately.

Kesler is a center.

Flippula would be moved to 3rd line.

I would love Kesler on the Wings, I just don't see Vancouver not re-signing him. He's too valuable on that team.

Police themselves ? thats what is happening now and they still don't stop themselves from almost killing eachother out there!. It wasnt even a shoulder to the head it was straight elbow to the chin. Terrible decision by the league, you put Cindy Crysby in instead of Savard and have a guy like Thornton from the Bruins hitting him the exact same way and we all know what would happen.

Umm, ever hear of that instigator rule? You know the one that allows players like Cooke to do as they please and don't have to worry about having to protect themselves?

Removing the instigator would have also worked, without having to rely on our brilliant officials.

Yep, my thoughts exactly.

That said, I don't mind how that rule is written. I'm worried on how it's going to be enforced, I don't have a whole lot of faith on the officials.

Same here.

Bettman's chosen franchise gets a pass once again.

I'll laugh if Crosby or Malkin get their heads taken off the next time Boston and Pittsburgh play. And of course, whoever is guilty of doing so will obviously be banned from the league forever.

Doubt it, Crosby is too good of a player to put himself in a vulnerable position...

Rules aside its about respect, knowing you can't make that hit clean you don't make it, it's as simple as that especially from the blind side.

How do you know Cooke didn't think he would of hit Savard high?

I do not like the league determining this.

I really just want the players to police themselves...

Glad you can manage to read minds of people.

What do I want for lunch while you are at it?

That said, I just miss the days where both players in this situation had accountability.

Cooke has the accountability that if he hits a star player, he will have to answer the bell.
And if the star player leaves himself vulnerable with a player like Cooke on the ice, that's his issue...

#1912821 What's up with Hank?

Posted by Carman on 09 March 2010 - 11:07 PM

he needs a setup person..whos his setup person? cleary who stands in front of the net or williams who is always looking for the shot.

dats was perfect for him and when they were line mates the whole season you seen their points.

Zetterberg should not be tied for 72nd in goals.

I don't care if he is playing with pylons.

He's still getting plenty of PP time as well.

No excuses.
