I was feeling like s*** and starting to think about next season. Now I realize that's a ****** bag thing to do, 'cause our season isn't over. We have at least 1 game left, let's stop crying and support our f***in' team.

The last thing I hate about detroit/the wings is their success.
Sounds like typical Red Wing hate; a ton of jealousy. You even specify the city of Detroit, not just the organization of the Wings and their fans. No one would hate an entire city if there's no bitterness and a green eyed monster (psst, that's envy).

Chicago weak defensively? They are currently 4th in GAA, only New jersey, Boston, Phoenix have tighter team defense.
I assure you, either team in a Hawks/Wings series will give the other a run for their money, whoever wins.
Just so you know you're allowed to root for the Wings to win, whoever they play, not just root for them to get the best possible matchup because they suck too bad to beat the good teams.
The Wings are one of the good teams.

I'm pretty new here and I already don't like Mindfly. What the hell is the point of all that negative thinking.
realistically we're the hottest team down this final stretch.
realistically we just clinched a playoff birth with a season that has had just about everyone on the roster on long term injury reserve at some point or another, largely all at the same time.

Yep. People here just don't want to admit that what the Flyers did actually seemed to work with some of our players.
We haven't played many teams all year that have tried this style against us. They had the personnel for it, and they got into the heads of some of our players with constant bullying tactics.
Homer and Franzen don't usually get so angry, so you know Carcillo did his job well.
Opposing agitators also don't usually have a pedo-stache, it's new territory for them.
