#2241677 Red Wings - Maple Leafs 24/7...

It's probably not possible but if the Wings faced the Hawks again, it'd be unreal, if you've ever seen the videos of the Blackhawks pulling pranks on each other, or them chirping each other, its TV gold.

#2183836 Latest Rumor: NHL Team Expected to Announce Rebranding in 2012

I really hope its not Nashville. Nashville has become a very successful hockey team and the city has gotten used to the name and embraced it. Besides, if not for the Preds name, where would they get that claw gesture?

At least Vancouver doesn't have a guaranteed sweep now  <_<

And this is why I want Chicago in. Vancouver will get worn out badly by these Hawks, they may possibly do what Anaheim did a couple years ago to the Sharks, if not then Vancouver will be exhausted. Travel and facing a high scoring team might just get to them.

McCollum is looking great this game.

#2013823 Brett Lebda signs with Toronto

Just like "lol @ Leino doing anything for the Flyers in the playoffs" probably.

Think about it, this was Leino's first year in the NHL. He definitely showed flashes of brilliance before, and Babs even said he was the best player he ever sent down. Leino, in Detroit, felt that a roster spot would be a given so he was "lazy and sucked", but in Philly, he needed to work super hard due to the number of forwards on the team, and he certainly did, and the system there worked for him. Leino was willing to try a new system, and it worked because he wasn't too used to our system as of yet.

Lebda has consistently played in the NHL as a bottom-6 defenceman for 4 years now and obviously doesn't have a whole lot more potential, like Leino did have, playing the same hockey for 4 years in the same position at the same level of the depth chart and being unable to impress the coaches enough to put him on a higher line. As an experienced NHL-er, he will probably make the same mistakes as before. And with the defensive depth they have in Toronto, he probably will, again, be the number 5-6 defenceman in Toronto.

we're just dead tired. thank God there's a 3 day break before the next game.

Detroit is playing alright and I have a feeling they will catch up the way they're playing.
3 goal leads aren't impossible to erase.

#1956778 Anyone notice a pattern here?

My point isn't that there is a conspiracy, or that one team is clearly worse than the other.

Its that all four series follow almost exact same pattern when it comes to who wins what games, which I just find a little strange.

Have you noticed that every underdog in the Westhas taken a 2-1 lead in the series, only for the series to be turned around to be 3-2?

With the exception of the Van-La series, where Vancouver won first, each series played out like this:

Game 1: Underdog
Game 2: "better" team
Game 3: Underdog
Game 4: "better" team
Game 5: "better" team

Pretty strange I'd say.
