It was greiss's turn after Nabokov, Nabokov Left. This was greiss chance. He waited for 3 years for this chance, and DW basically signed two goalies. DW made it clear in a few years, its Alex Stalock's team. Alex Stalock is our goalie in the minors, that is probably our best goalie prospect.

And DW I don't think well trade Nitty. He usually doesn't usually do a sign and trade, if he does trade Nitty. I'll be surprised. I wouldn't be suprised if Greiss is traded before training camp. Or package him with Clowe for a top four d man at the deadline.

Sharks had a good season. I'm not that depressed like I have been in recent years. We played 100 percent, all the games were close execpt for game 2.  My main concerns who stays? Marleau or Nabokov? Marleau will demand lots of money, 6-7 million. WIll he stay here or go on the market and go to LA or Calgary? If we do sign Marleau, Will Nabokov give us a hometown discount. I can't see Nabokov or Marleau in a diffrent jersey. THey've been in this franchise since they were  18. I still am digusted at versus biased for the hawks.

I want the Sharks to get better D. Our D sucks so much ass. I want the WIlson to sign Hamnuis or Volenchenkov, or Michalek on D. Lots of decisions for Mr. WIlson. His biggest offseason yet.

I have also been surprised by so many people here have chosen the Sharks.

It was a good series, guys! It really was. Even though, the refs were pretty bad. The Sharks top players are finally playing like top players. In the past, Nabokov wouldn't have bounced back after that horrible loss 7-1. Maybe the olympics helped him just to bounce back. Many Shark fans have been jealous of Detroit and yes the fans. It seems like you always go to the WCF year after year after year after year after year. ANd are always some how in the SCF. It always seems like you are always in the end, just like the yankees, redsox, lakers, etc etc. The Sharks for many years have tried to play your game, and it finally maybe have worked this year.

I hope the Sharks will beat the hawks\canucks. It will be a hard series. And yes, i'm hoping LIdstrom doesn't retire, never like to see a legendary player retires like LIdstrom.

And sorry if I trash talked during game 4 and part of game 5 in the forums\ chatrooms, just heat of the moment. I usually don't trash talk. I'm sure we will see you in the playoffs next year, you have over 13 million to spend, and will be a good team next year.

1) The Face-off "attempt" by Thornton vs. Zetterberg... Never puts his stick on the ice 1st (which the visiting team has to do) and Hits Zetterberg in the upper leg...(I slowed it down so you could see it better... Face-offs are on the ICE not the Upper Leg.
2) Instead of going after the puck he skates away (with his back to the play) to go after our Captain Nick Lidstrom, keeping him on the boards and even giving him a shot with his stick... But the fact is HE went After Nick and targeted him.....
3) the obvious attack on Holmstrom.... Looks like Homer was really ready for the hit AFTER the whistle....

Fair enough and very vaild points. Diving doesn't belong the game at all, and honestly one call against the Sharks in the first two games would have stopped it. Why not keep selling calls if the officials are letting you get away with it?

I expect the refs to do a poor job. I am just very surprised at the Sharks coming out in this series and diving so much. It has completely dictated the outcome of the first two games in their favor.

I agree with this. The Sharks aren't usually divers at all. But When Seto dove in game and the refs didn't call it, the Sharks will dive until they get called. THe refs hasn't called anything, so they will keep diving unitl they get called. The only diver we have is Nabokov, he is a pretty damn good diver, and he proved it last night.

So avs decided they would skate slow for no apparent reason?  You guys are slow mofos and thats why you guys are going to lose to the us.  The sharks will bow down, kiss our feet, and have fun golfing this summer.  Joes pretty good at that.

ANd series should start on thursday, a concert at hp will be on friday and saturday as the eagles are coming to town. Second game should be on sunday, ij ust hope the sunday game is not in the morning.

But should be a good fought series. If the Sharks win, our pysch will be wayy upp since most of our playoff ghosts\demons are there and if they lose, they haveno shame to lose to the wings.
