#2155553 Congratulations to the Phoenix Coyotes

You cannot deny that they played with all their hearts and they wanted to win as bad as anyone could. They played with a lot of desire. Hopefully all these ownership issues get sorted out soon and they will have a bright future whether they stay or go.

Congrats on a great season.

You could make the argument that the enforcement of that rule is a violation of your first amendment rights. The throwing of an octopus is a symbolic expression of you wishing to motivate your team. The same way flag burning is protected under free speech.

I was thinking about this last night. I don't think the story is true because even if Bettman passes some stupid rule, I don't think he can have people arrested and taken to court unless it's against a city ordinance. The most he could do is have you thrown out and have to pay a fine if you ever want to attend a game again. If they take you to jail and court and make you pay a city fine then there has to be an ordinance or law against throwing an octopus on the ice. So let's blame city council.

WAIT CONSPIRACY THEORY Bettman is working with city council to hurt the city of Detroit even more!

Just got back from the game. It was amazing. When we killed that 5 on 3 the whole crowd exploded in to cheers louder than I've ever heard in a long long time. And from that moment on it was just crazy. Only drawback was that I was looking for a phoenix fan to taunt, but then I remembered that there aren't any

Also I'm not a fan of Jimmy Howard, but I have to give him huge props. He played his heart out tonight and it was great to see him not give up a bad rebound.

*edit*

Oh and props to our defense too, especially the PK. Our PK was simply amazing and I think our defense as a whole played solid. A much refreshing change from the past few weeks.

Ancient Navajo legends tells of a fierce battle between the legendary warrior tribe and the evil coyotes. This is an artists rendition.
