I just wanted to point out that for many ppl here this isn't really about hatred towards Crosby, but about being fed up with all the indoctrination how he's
the real son of a god (and Jesus was just some beta version of Sindy), because it is overwhelming. and the very reason of this discussion is not Crosby
himself but how Canadian media behave...

There's a difference between matching up against a player and saying who's better.

Sure, Crosby's the most talented offensive hockey player in the world and would certainly score much more than Zetterberg over a full season no matter what teams both of them are on.   But, that doesn't mean Z can't shut him down in a direct head-to-head match-up.  

So yeah, I'd still take Z over Crosby if they were matched against each other in a playoff series.  Unless he really has some nagging injury or something, I think Zetterberg can still be almost as effective as he already has been in the playoffs the last four, five years.

I might be being too much of a homer, but I can still honestly say Hank's a much, much better defensive forward than Crosby.  Everything I just said goes for Datsyuk as well.

Why does nhl on nbc show every single pens game I know Crosby is back but seriously? I wanted to watch the Bruins/Habs but instead just one of the best teams in hockey dominate one of the worst? I don't understand I know everyone is up Crosby's ******* but its ridiculous watching this game how everything is about him.

It would make NO sense to not show Crosby's first game back. Never run/start a business because you will fail miserably.
