I expect Kronwall to get off his lazy ass and move his feet instead of coasting in and getting totally outworked by Pavelski.  Thats what i expect.  Pavelski was willing to bust his ass to make the play; Kronwall wasn't.  That was symptomatic of too much of the game.

I expect them to have learned from last year that you don't win Stanley Cups by letting the wind get taken out of your sails by little men with whistles and diving divas.

They give up 46 shots to only 25 and you guys are bitchin about dives?   18 shots in the 2nd period alone?  Sheeyaat.

Nothing is new here...Detroit now has shaken the rust off and needs to come out with fire in game 2 as San Jose will be able to muster up some weak calls later in the game to catch up on the PP.

Those of you saying the series is over after 1 game...why are you a fan of any sports team?  Please don't tune in for game 2.

I don't feel like searching the previous threads/post so can someone explain to me why Eaves/Miller/Abdelkader are in the lineup and Mike Modano is not? Modano brings more to the team than any of those clowns.

Except he has played like garbage at the end of the regular season and very mediocre when he has played in these playoffs.  After this game..he could replaced Abby for the remaining games of the playoffs after they perma bench Abby.
