#2292135 Will Detroit win this series?

Posted by bdavis on 18 April 2012 - 10:31 AM

All I know is that we don't need another cocktease here. Please, if you guys make it to game 7.. WIN.

#2291639 What are the odds of winning this series now?

Posted by bdavis on 17 April 2012 - 10:09 PM

8.7% of the time, teams have came back from being down 3-1. Link: Chance of winning. So out of 229 times, only 20 have come back.

Good news! Hopefully his concussion symptoms have subsided too.

Poor guy. Never has a chance to get his game to 100%. I remember last season, right after his hat-trick game, he was injured. If it wasn't for his injuries, I don't see why he couldn't be a 20 goal scorer.

#2208028 Yet another lawsuit filed against Bert

Posted by bdavis on 18 September 2011 - 11:52 AM

Moore was probably planning this lawsuit for a long time. That's why he never played in the NHL again, because he knew that if he did that, then he couldn't have a lawsuit like this against Bert. This lawsuit is all based on him not playing. So I believe, essentially, the guy ended his career because he thought he was going to milk tons of money on this "cash cow".

There is no way to gauge how much the guy was gonna make either, because he never really played long. The guy is just money hungry. Bert never intended to break Moore's neck, that was an accident (the neck breaking part). You can really tell Bert regrets doing this too.

1. Nick's not retiring. He's a Norris finalist. Again.
2. Z is a lock for the C. Though Dats is arguably best player in the game, he just cannot vocally lead the team like Z will.

I dunno man, Nick's wife may be kinda pissy about him playing at age 41 lol. Also, I'd love to see Dats as captain instead (instead of Z that is), because he has such great heart and talent. He always turns the game back around when the team is down. He earns his money day-in and day-out.

One thing is for sure, If Lidstrom retires, Datsyuk needs to be Captain.

I agree with you 100%... What an example he would be wearing that C.

Are you ki9dding me? Did you not watch overtime? The wings just find a way to lose 1 goal games. They truely deserve better

Yes I did, and did you watch how many open nets the wings missed??? Plus a blown powerplay too.

This team cannot hold a lead. Something needs to be changed.

Pavalski is a diving *****... See him behind the net trying to get the trip call?

I love how the NBC announcers don't even suggest that the high stick was a penalty. "Well... Franzen gained mind control over Keith, and hit himself in the face."

#2022630 20 goal scorers

Perhaps with a little more ice time, Eaves could be a 20 goal scorer again. I know the guy has it in him. That would be a nice surprise.

#1999234 Did the Hawks get a little lucky?

Yes, the Hawks got lucky that they didn't have to play the Wings in the WCF.

#1997257 The Curse of Marian Hossa

Posted by bdavis on 09 June 2010 - 11:12 PM

The Great Marian Hossa Debate will never end. He will never do enough in the future and has not done enough in the past to earn the respect of bitter/fair weather fans. But it can no longer be said that he will never win a Cup. He's played so much hockey over the last 3 years, he's been very polite and gracious when answering questions about his previous losses, and if he didn't show up on the score sheet he still helped out his team. He earned this Cup and more than deserved it.

Kinda hard for him to get a decent fan base when he is on a different team every year. :P
