Yeah, "Get Ready For This" and "Hey Hey Hockeytown" for the goal songs. Everything else can go away.
This.
Glad I'm not the only one who noticed the disgrace of this club music. I work for the American Forces Network, and our radio shows are LITTERED with this crap. I'm afraid to go into the studio(s) to work on something, in fear of walking into "P-P-P-Poker Face, P-P-Po-ker Face".
I actually like (or LIKED) that I could watch a game on the NHL Network's Classic Series, and hear the familiar tunes from the early HockeyTown days(~1995, to be exact) until today. Tradition.
I'll say it again: what pissed me off more than the 10 crosschecks to Z's back was the fact that it was Jimmyf****** Howard who went after Crosby. Kronwall also had a clear shot after they'd been separated and didn't so much as look in the same direction as Crosby, let alone say anything (God forbid!)... just terrible.
Crosby needs to get the f*** beaten out of him, but no one on the Wings can do it, so I'm rooting for Carcillo to jump him like he jumps his opponents.
I don't know what pisses me off more about that Crosby video:
1) That people took their sweet ass time getting at Crosby, to the point that Jimmy Howard stepped in
2) That Kronwall said and did NOTHING to Crosby once the refs/linesmen jumped in. Not af****** word.
3) That Jimmy Howard showed more balls than any Red Wing at the end of the game. Zetterberg absolutely owned Crosby all game... he should have known this s*** was coming, and waited until about the 7th cross-check before he finally got pissed off.
4) That Crosby left the Joe knowing that he got to Z and Jimmy Howard. That he could have hurt Zetterberg, and would have been allowed to fight Jimmy Howard (and easily win) with no repercussions. He got in their heads, and he knows that next game... it's on... and he has the advantage.
Amen to the "Wings feed guaranteed". I can get most feeds in HD, but nothing ruins a game like a Nashville or Anaheim broadcast... FROM THE JOE LOUIS ARENA!!!!
