It's a wise soul who knows their limitations and learns to accept and go on. I wish him nothing but good. I got to meet him at camp a couple years ago. Really nice kid. Good luck and good journeys, Ryan.
Thank you, Loo, for posting the pic and story on my Pasha. You beat me to it. Such a humble, gracious, generous soul...so selfless and giving. It makes me so proud of him. If you ever wondered why I love him, this might be a damned good reason for starters. Like I told you before, Loo, I think you and I found our angels. So precious...
Not a fan of this. Would have way rather seen Lilja back, especially after he fought so hard to recover from his injury. Salei hasn't played a full season since 2006 , and frankly is just too old. Whats the average age of our defensive core now, 37?
I'm with you on this one. I'm not sure this is an improvement. At least with Andreas, we knew pretty much what we were getting and what we had. This is an unknown quantity, injury wise and otherise. I'm kinda scratching my head on this one.
Meantime, I'm gonna miss Lils...he was always a hard worker, good attitude, worked hard to make his way back, and he gets kicked to the curb. Wherever he lands, I wish him nothing but good fortune, and good journeys.
I'm not convinced. Why don't I want him? He doesn't strike me as the type who will be willing to drop his ego at the door, he is in it for the money only, and I just don't like his attitude. The world does not revolve around him. Now if you think you can convince me otherwise, good luck. I'm gonna be extremely critical of him. I want to see him sacrificing his body out there every shift, every night. Block shots, hit people who get in his way, fight for his teammates...everything. Leave your ass out on that ice every night - then I might be convinced. But don't bet on it.
