I caught some heat on facebook for calling that guy a dips***.

As has been noted, being on the Wings is not a cure-all for bad attitude, laziness and incompetence defensively. Clearly Robert Lang was never a hard worker in his 2+ seasons with the team. It never changed.
Zherdev is a dickhead. That's why he shouldn't be on this team. Many of you underestimate the importance of having harmony in the locker room.
Nuh uh, playing for Detroit automatically makes you a perfect fifth. Are you trying to say he's a diminished fifth?

Getting tired of everyone saying the Wings are soo great at taking lazy players and making them great.
Why haven't we done that with Hudler? Why couldn't we do that with Leino, Lang, Williams, etc?
People see his moves on youtube and automatically assume he'd be some magical fit with Datsyuk. The guy has been benched nearly half his career, doesn't that tell you something?
He is the polar opposite player type that the Wings look for and find success with.
