Not a chance. Weissy will be Weissy until he doesn't play like one

If you're going to sign every post can you just make it part of your signature so people have a choice to view it? Thanks.

You can do that? I use tap talk, it used to say "posted using tap talk". I like the dangle better, but nonetheless I'll see what I can do, and until next time...

This is generous as Tootoo actually played well and earned a spot unlike Weissy. Every now and then there are players who simply don't fit with a coach & his playing style, this could be one of those times...but I truly hope Weiss gets a shot, then makes the damn thing 13dangledangle~

Weissy? :stop:

#2540856 Jeff Petry; trade between us and oilers

Posted by 13dangledangle on 15 October 2014 - 04:43 PM

Are you saying hell no in that you wouldn't do it? (because I obviously wouldn't either...) or that it wouldn't cost that much? Because I think it would cost that (or in that ballpark...)

I've got to disagree with you there buddy.  I don't think it would take that much.  The last three players of that quality to get traded were Bobby Ryan, Jason Spezza, and Ryan Kesler, and none of them went for that kind of return.  Actually, not even close to that really.

The problem I see is Detroit, at least in recent years seems to pay more then they should or more...while teams like Toronto get players like JVR for Schenn

Still no Weiss.... I am not gonna lie, I wish he would get a shot.

It makes me wonder what's really going on there. He (Weiss) was under the impression he was working very hard, do him and Babs have different ideas in terms what's hard work?

"I hate how a lot of people write off Jensen. If Sproul, Ouellet, Marchenko, and Backman, wern't so good, everyone would be excited about him"

You don't know how happy that makes me to see!

I was following the play by play for the game and noticed a lot of these:

13:43 Detroit Giveaway by Jakub Kindl in defensive zone

That's true, and I don't want to downplay it.  But it also should be pointed out that Kindl and Dekeyser (or Lashoff and Dekeyser) is nothing close to a top pair.  And yet were forced to play as one against one of the better top six teams in the league.  And we still only lost 2-1 in OT.

So while we should definitely not make excuses for anyone.  We should put it into context.  Kindl was bad.  But not so bad that it kept us out of the game.  Hell, if Pulkkinen does what he's supposed to and buries that open netter we win the game in regulation.  So there's that.

I missed the game, sucks to hear Pulkkinen missed a great opportunity. I like that kid a lot

#2535667 Nice article on Mantha

Posted by 13dangledangle on 07 September 2014 - 09:08 AM

I don't get why people say "11 points in the world juniors..." The kid scored 120 points with Val last year, he had 20 more points then the next player on the team an 30 on the one after that. Babs and Holland have both said how exciting it is to have a natural goal scorer like him in our system, and the first one in a LONG time! I'm stoked for how this kid is going to compliment our current kids Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Booooooring.  Tomas Tatar could do that drunk.

This made me laugh so hard! Well done

I'm still trying to get my head around Tatar being nothing more then Hudler?! As soon as he got up to the big club he put on clinics on hard work & determination. You can see when Tatar is on the ice he wants to make something happen and usually did...He won the MVP when they won the Calder, the kid loves to win and it shows. Moving him, Nyquist, or Jurco are my bugga boos

What ever happens, do not trade Tatar please...

It all starts with the right attitude. This kid seems to display that so here's hoping the upward trend continues.

#2529350 Can Z and Pav do anything to protest? (not that they would)

Posted by 13dangledangle on 02 July 2014 - 09:02 AM

Why is everyone saying Datsyuk and Zetterberg will leave? ZETTERBERG will NEVER ask for a trade, that is straight up crazy talk. Then Datysuk on the other hand has two years left, he's done after this contract anyway

#2524695 Trading up?

Posted by 13dangledangle on 19 June 2014 - 08:30 PM

I don't understand the purpose of making fun of someone's shorthand with words.  We all knew they meant "could" and "should".

Yes...But, why choose 4 words out of 80 to shorten? We've read this much already....It just seems a little ridiculous I guess

#2524171 Wings sign Tomas Nosek to 2 year entry level deal

Posted by 13dangledangle on 17 June 2014 - 09:40 AM

 Really? Ok, Leino, Brunner, Brunnstrom...does that answer your question?

Leino - traded for some picks. Brunner - helped us immensely in the playoffs that year, and one of our better goalscorers that season. Brunnstrom - played like 6 games.

Which one of these signings hurt the team again?

I would take Brunner back in a second. I loved the kid
