I have the sneaking suspicion we are going to surprise a lot of people this year...TBC

I think an ol' Savvy vet is what that crew needs back there, eat some minutes and shed some guidance on our young grasshoppers.

  ...Ian White however doesnt get enough credit at all, I used to watch him play for the Leafs every game they played for the five years he was there and he's one of the most consistent D men there is imo.  I was uber happy for him that he got to play with Lids as much as he did, even if it was for that one season...

It's been stated several times what Franzen's critics would like from him.  Sure 40-50 goals would be great, but I'd settle for a more consistent effort on the ice.  When Zetterberg isn't scoring you can still see how hard he's working out there.  Trying to get his shots, backchecking, carrying the puck in the high traffic areas.  

Franzen is at his worst when he is content not having fun and he tends to float around, not using his considerable size, and just wing the puck at the net from low-percentage areas.

  Just had to fix that I wont lie I don't think we of all teams will land Ryan, and I think that's a good thing.  Yes he is a 50-60 point guy but to lose Flip entering his prime (not to mention the "kids" found his mojo imo) Tatar ++ for it??  I dont want to see that happen, I am really gearing up for this transition and with a little help from lady luck we will be alright...Better then that actually, we will be gorgeous!

If we head into the season as is our forward line up would look like

If Nyquist and Brunner keep their top 6 positions than our bottom 6 looks amazing... Lots of scoring, speed and hitting. That 3rd line could be a game changer every night. That Nashville series was lost in the bottom 6 matchup. Having Helm playing with some offensive guys would give him his real shot at being a scoring threat every game. Than our 4th line has more scoring than most plus very fast and strong. Having this bottom 6 in place is a Stanley cup winning bottom 6. Beef up the top 6 and D and our team will be solid in all aspects

*Just for the record- had to look it up- if the Preds don't match/sign Weber, their D consists of Gill, Blum, Ellis, Josi, and Klein.

Again I love this signing, he just gives it his all out there.  He is dog tired at the end of every shift, and for a very good reason.  The jump him and Helm would have on the same line would be tremendous.

I am leaning towards the khl now for Semin unfortunately or fortunately which ever way you look at it.

This is complete Bulls***.  NO WAY Howard cost us the series or was "the biggest difference maker" in loosing, that is ridiculous.  Howard has shown he can compete with the top goalies in the league, but this little problem we had was obviously a "TEAM" thing.   The team didn't work together at all thus looked like a team that was leaving early and didn't even seem to care.    Howards fault? Ok lol...

I hope he signs somewhere and kicks ass!  I am not he biggest Dom fan but the fact everyone seems to be against the idea I really, really hope he kick some major ass.  Best of luck Dom
