#2050972 Tim Thomas' new mask

Posted by 13dangledangle on 22 October 2010 - 08:57 PM

It's original so he gets points for that, and most of you guys dig it so...I guess it is just me, because I don't like it at all!

#2041712 Tomorrow night - What would you rather see?

Posted by 13dangledangle on 07 October 2010 - 10:11 PM

Actually I think that's the majority.

His usefulness has just declined over the years and it's come time to let him go. But that's not hate. He's given a lot to the Wings over the years.

100% Correct! Well said.

Osgood will be playing.

That's a shame.

#2033384 Salei Comments on History With Modano and New Season

It would appear they are sitting next to each other in the locker rooms so I doubt there is a problem.

(Note the #24 on the helmet)

I like that picture, it makes me want the season to start that much sooner! Lets go Red Wings :siren:

#2033382 Seguin vs Hall Crosby vs Ovechkin

Posted by 13dangledangle on 14 September 2010 - 11:32 PM

I dont know I realllllly hate Pat Kane...with a f***in' passion actually, and I also just gained a little respect for Crysby after that little home run eskapade. That was impressive!

#2033378 Babcock's Contract Extension

What a day it was when Kenny hired Babcock.

 thats for sure! and to lock him up would be sick, get r done Kenny.

#2033291 Riley Sheahan named as "One's to Watch"

Posted by 13dangledangle on 14 September 2010 - 02:56 PM

I love the look of Sheahan, good hands, good size and good defensively. Sounds like he has the drive as well so

.....and that Dan Cleary is one funny cat!

#2030708 Habs re-sign Carey Price

Posted by 13dangledangle on 02 September 2010 - 11:25 PM

Im confused by why Price signed with them again? Its not like he is getting much more then he would get on the market-and I do believe he'd be a better goalie else were!- but what boggles my brain is that after seeing him play there for a few years and hearing the booooooos sent his way...then hearing his response to the fans after the boooooos, :scared:............HOW THE HELL CAN THIS WORK??? (unless I am missing somthing)

#2029121 Line Musings

Posted by 13dangledangle on 25 August 2010 - 11:44 AM
Franzen and Bertuzzi together would be fun because of their size even though they dont really use it, just a big size presence helps...

I hope being together will make them play physical, this line could be a force in every way :siren:

#2029044 Kenny done dealing?

Posted by 13dangledangle on 25 August 2010 - 12:35 AM

Kenny is going to deal again/still dealing, but I'm certain we have our roster for the start of the season set already. Mr. Holland will deal for Picks and prospects from here on out...until the season play's out a little and we get to see what's what...Posted Image(the ninja is Ken Holland)

#2029041 Line Musings

Posted by 13dangledangle on 25 August 2010 - 12:08 AM

I like Bab's "forecasted" line as well as most other's here so far, point is they look darn good on paper, and given that most have a chemistry already there shouldn't be much of an issue. I would like to see him shake em up and put Big Bert on PP1 (also resting homer) and Flip Modano and Rafi on the PP as well. I just feel Rafalski should quarter back his own PP, Lids-Modano and Kronner-Rafalski?

#2024482 NHL testing new rules and rink modifications

Posted by 13dangledangle on 09 August 2010 - 03:27 PM

* Verification goal line (additional line situated behind the goal line);

I cant be the only one who finds this absurd can I? There already is a line there to tell you if it went over!

#2024238 Red Wings might opt to keep Ritola at the expense of Miller

Posted by 13dangledangle on 09 August 2010 - 10:12 AM

Ritola does not have the nack for finding the back of the net, but man is he amazing and such a smart player. He sees the ice almost as well as Datsyuk. He has crazy puck handling skills, and can do take-aways as good or better than Datsyuk. His work ethics are off the charts and he isn't afraid to go in the corners and dig the puck out... and win.

Easy now let's not get to carried away here, Datsyuk is perhaps the best take-away artist of all time and the latter is Ritola.
