I know this doesn't answer your questions, but whenever I go to a game, or any event for that matter, I always carry my " I SNUCK IN" sign...looks hilarious when seen on tv...or maybe its just me

#2232646 12/4 GDT : Red Wings 2 at Avalanche 4

Love how Conks is making most people on here eat crow. Absolutely loving it.....

Go Wings Go!

#2209688 Mursak is out

Posted by robb himself on 25 September 2011 - 08:55 PM

im thinking Emmerton is a lock to make it...

I also think that Brunnstrom has done very well and will get a contract...

so im thinking the opening day line up will look something like this...

Franzen, Zetterberg, Filppula

Cleary, Datsyuk, Eaves

Abdelkader, Helm, Bertuzzi

Hudler, Miller, Holmstrom

I also think that Emmerton and Brunnstrom will get ample opportunity to get on the main roster, especially if Hudler under-performs

#2207978 Early Training Camp Lines/Teams

Posted by robb himself on 17 September 2011 - 01:29 PM

I'm pretty excited to see how Jurco and Smith look in camp.

I am very excited to see what Jurco can do in camp as well. I think this kid will be on the Wings roster sooner rather than later.

I am also stoked to see what Tvrdon can do. I think he is a very underrated player and will soon be a big part of the Red Wings.

#2207957 Datsyuk to wear 24 in preseason to honor Salei

just when I thought he couldnt possibly get any classier...

#2203816 Brunnström to try out for Wings

Posted by robb himself on 15 August 2011 - 01:05 PM

I really don't mean to make this a Hudler thread... but Mursak has to earn a spot in the lineup first. And beyond that, the Cleary/Zetterberg/Hudler and Cleary/Datsyuk/Hudler lines were absolutely DEADLY combinations last season. So how about we start with:

The third line here is basically a ramped up version of the fourth line in the previous lineup. This lineup also allows for less even strength time for Homer while still keeping him in an effective role; his line has some offensive talent but can be used as a checking line as it is anchored by Abdelkader. I would expect, though, to have something closer to the first lineup but with Abdelkader instead of Brunnstrom.

yeah those all look like good combos to me. I just have a feeling that Mursak is going to be a lot better than most give him credit for, and will eventually make his way up onto the 2nd line. We shall see I guess....

#2203673 Crosby's 2012 Season now in Question

And if they don't, he'll only have his tens and tens of millions of dollars for succor.

yeah that is true, but is hardly the point...

#2200945 Free agency in 2012

Posted by robb himself on 25 July 2011 - 04:13 PM

I actually have a weird feeling that Hudler is going to have a good year this year with 25 goals and 50+ points...but thats just me.

Helm is a no brainer to bring back.

Hopefully Abdelkader can get his game going this year.

Wouldnt mind having Bertuzzi back on a year to year basis.

Not sure about Holmstrom yet.

Kronwall is a must.

Hopefully Stuart will be back as well.

I have a feeling that Lidstrom and Holmstrom may retire together. (definately if they win the Cup)
