Granted, fans would be enraged but GM's are suppose to think about the superficial and temporary voice of fans. Found the statistical site ... % chance of each NHL team making playoffs. As of today, Anaheim has a 5.8% chance of making it.
Teemu, come on over ... pleeze.
Don't know if you've noticed this, but they are 18-3-4 in their last 25 games, better than any other team in the league in the last 25. Any GM would be a fool to blow up a team that is playing that hot. Especially one that has gone on runs like that in the past, to make the playoffs. Besides, a trade would be Selanne's decission, not Murray's. I wouldn't hold your breath on Teemu becoming a Wing.

Not worring about winning 21 straight, just focussing on getting the 2 points. 60 minutes of Hockey, boys. And, remember to help out your goalie. LGRW.

OP, you said ericcson wanted a piece of eager. Was there a particular time when this happened or was it an ongoing thing. To be honest, I didn't think E had it in him to go after eager.
Big E went after Eager, when Eager hit Cleary into the bench door. Ericsson was ready to go and Eager ducked behind one of the refs and a linesman. This is what caused Gagners breakaway goal. E blew his coverage going for the fight, and left nobody back on defense to cover against cherry pickers. I do commend Big Rig for standing up for his teammate, but if you're not going to play defense, then at least get a whistle blown for something. Eager had a huge s***-eating grin when Gagner scored that goal, knowing that he was the one responsible for the breakaway.

Onward to the desert to get the remaining 2 points available. Kind of like a home game.

Also you can blame Drew Miller for taking the stupid tripping penalty.
Or maybe thank the refs for making a bad call. Rewind your tape. Hall trips over Clearys stick while trying to leap over it. He got his right foot caught up about halfway up the shaft, or about 1 1/2 feet above the ice. Noone even tripped him according to the NHL rulebook. And Miller didn't even touch him. But, go ahead bring the hate.

#2251727 Rick Nash?

To Det- Nash
To Columbus- Cleary,Kindl,2012 2nd round, maybe a young goalie saying Mason has completely fallen apart last couple seasons, McCollum,Mrazek not sure if we still have rights to Larsson even
you have to look at the Kovalchuk deal i would think as somewhat the same type of package
To Atl- Cormier,Bergfors,Oduya,1st round pick,2nd round pick
To Nj- Kovalchuk,Salmela,2nd round pick
You have to keep in mind that Kovalchuk was to be an UFA and had told Atlanta that he would not re-sign there. His trade value dropped significantly at that point. They took the best offer they could get, which minus the picks, was The Devils making room for Ilya's contract, by cutting contract dollars from their roster. The players going back to Atlanta were more for financial terms than for playing ability.
Regarding Suters asking price, Darren Dreger was on NHL Tonight last night, and had stated that the asking price for Suter, if The Preds were to offer him for trade, would be, A roster player, A top prospect, A second tier prospect, And a first round pick. I'm pretty sure that that statement was was from Poile, but I'm not 100% sure. It could very well have been Dreger's speculation, but I thought it was paraphrased from Poile. Something think about for all of you empire builders.

Should be a 5 point lead over Canucks as they gave the Canucks a point in regulation but I'll take the win.
didn't you just say that we lost. Make up your mind.

Yeah, that hit was hard enough to throw Morrow several feet backwards.
Obviously, you're an expert in physics, as well as every-*******-thing else in the world. Oh guru of knowledge.
You notice who was laying on the ice? Not Morrow.
