In Kenny i'm beginning to lose trust.....

Kubina is an absolute steal at under 4mil.

Tampa's blueline is gonna be awesome next year:

Hedman-Ohlund
Kubina-Ranger
Walker-Smaby(?)

When Nystrom got scooped by the Wild I cringed a tad but this is the list I still had too. So we can only hope we can get one of these fine 4th liners. Any of the 3 I am :D

4th liners that are still out there:

Brad Winchester
Jared Boll
Arron Asham
Zenon Konopka
Eric Boulton

Don't get me wrong,I love Malts, but if he re-signs,I'm gonna need a year supply of Heineken.

Pass on Miller.

Yes on Eaves.

I can't see Kenny letting go of Eaves. He proved to be solid both offensively and defensively last year for us.I expect him back.I don't want Miller back, give me Boogaard!!!

#2007246 4th Round Pick (111), Teemu Pulkkinen

Don't know much about him,but the best thing for him to do is to transition from the European game to the North American game. The sooner he does that, the better,in my opinion.

I'm hoping for a sign and trade deal with Miller and Meech.

#2007222 Oilers Place Nilsson, Moreau, and O'Sullivan on Waivers

Seems like Edmonton may try and keep Vandermeer... Doesn't make sense not to, since the buyout for Vandy is more than it was for O'Sullivan...

it would only make sense for Edmonton to keep Jim Vandermeer, due to the likely departure of Aaron Johnson.

Its gonna be interesting to see what Kenny does on July 1st.He's not known to make huge splashes via free agency.I think the blueline needs to get tougher,so gimme Nick Boynton and I'm happy,as far as defense goes.

#2006633 Modano done in Dallas

Posted by Bring Back The Bruise Bros on 29 June 2010 - 12:44 PM

Total classless move by the Stars organization. This guy has done nothing but play his heart out every game for 22 years in the organization, and they don't give him a contract to finish his career in Dallas? What a joke. He's been the face of the franchise forever. He's done incredible things for that organization and the city of Dallas. What af****** joke.

Plenty of better options out there anyway:

Andy Sutton
Shane Hnidy
Jim Vandermeer
Nick Boynton
Sean O'Donnell
Brendan Witt
Jay McKee
Jay Leach
Jason Strudwick
Garnet Exelby

I'd be happy with any of them, but my top choices are Sutton and Vandermeer.Obviously, money may be an issue with Sutton.

Another solid option for 6th defenseman is Jim Vandermeer, who was just placed on waivers by the Coyotes.
