There's just not enough room to re-sign Bertuzzi,Holmstrom,Eaves,Miller,Abdelkader,and Helm up front.especially with Hudler coming back.I still think we can do better than Lilja.

The thing that makes me nervous is seeing that there was interest in Scott Parse.I just don't want another ***** coming here.And the squad that likes people who can skate and take a pass. Boll is actually a decent player, he just doesn't score.

Jared Boll would be a good fit here.Skates decent,plays well defensively,and he's not afraid of anyone.I like pre injury Lilja and all but really the only guys he had a good go with wereBoll and Sharp. Sharp isn't the toughest guy around and Souray he landed a good punch and they kinda lost their balance it was a TKO or anything.
Janik is a better fighter then Lilja is what I'm trying to say, and much more willing to go.

A guy from Washington I think would fit well in our system would be Jason Chimera.I'd love to see him on the 4th line.Anyone heard anything on if they intend on keeping him or letting him walk?

Janik can do everything that Lilja can do.The only thing Janik can't do as well as Lilja is get his ass kicked.janik does everything lilja can do

I doubt he's back next year.I wanna see some good ol'rock em sock em anywaysI wouldn't be so sure of Miller coming back guys. He was a solid waiver pick up but Holland wants tougher guys in the bottom 6. Miller might have to go.

I can see him taking less,just not taking 2 mil.That's a lot to ask.Could be wrong tho.I don't understand why it is so hard to believe that Lidstrom "may" take 2 million for a 1 year contract being this close to retirement. Yzerman did the same thing, if memory serves right, I believe Yzerman only made 1 million in his final season. And we would have payed him 5 million to stay I'm sure. Hell, I think he only made around 2 million the year before his last season.
If Lidstrom taking less money means the team will be more competitive, he will.

Jiri Hudler will not score 70 points next season.Wow, I'm surprised someone else here besides you sees him scoring 70 points.
Everytime we have a thread like this on LGW, something bad happens. Last year we had a "Will Franzen get 50 Goals" thread, and we've had a Zetterberg thread that was the same and of course that "Will Datsyuk Get 100 points" thread.
If those guys couldn't reach their fantasized projections, I can't see Hudler doing it. He's never hit 70 points, and now we may not have Lidstrom back next year and Hank and Pavel barely hit 70 this year. I just don't see it. If he hits 50 points, I say that's a pleasant surprise and a success.
