#2535900 Jonas Gustavsson - Monsters Hall of Fame new mask

Posted by MabusIncarnate on 10 September 2014 - 09:13 PM

I love it, the cryptids on there like Bigfoot and the Loch Ness Monster are a nice touch. I think it's cool how the white areas look like a pencil sketch, along with his number on the front part of it.

All it's missing is a big almond-eyed alien and a UFO or two. I know they aren't technically "monsters" but a weirdo can dream.  :alien1:

******* awesome.

Between Jimmy and Monster (and even Mrazek) we've come a long way from this:

I prefer these. They came with cups.

Half the teams in this league wish they had Howard *perspective*

I know Chicago fans that would rather have Howard. Not kidding

Hoping for a great year out of Jimmy this season, new year, fresh opportunity to play some confident hockey and maintain the standard that we know Howard is capable of.

Glad to hear he feels like he is in top shape going into the season. That can only do positive things for his attitude and confidence levels.

I know you wouldn't want this thread to be about you, but how you doing anyway man?  I know its been a while since you were diagnosed.

Wow, thanks for asking.

I'm doing great. I can still hold my kids, play with them in the pool, and zipline with them at Whistler.

My parents and my brothers family joined us for a week in San Diego, then all flew to our home in Washington. We just took them to Whistler where we all, including my 75 yr old mumsy, did the longest tallest zip line in North America . (The kids did the bobsled run too, along with my wife)

My 13 yr old niece is putting together a little vacation vid, check it out (the older kids are my nephew and nieces, young one is Olivia , Lilja seemed to be sleeping a lot)

AND my life long friend from growing up in Michigan did an awesome Ice Bucket Challenge vid (he's Air Force) :

#2534989 Las Vegas rumored to get an expansion team

Posted by MabusIncarnate on 26 August 2014 - 10:48 PM

Yeah, I mean Phoenix is doing so well, let's toss another team right next to them.

So what fun and exciting name are they going to slap on this one?

If any of those cities was going to be the first "lock" to get an NHL expansion team, Vegas is the last one on the list I thought would be receiving one. Seattle or QC makes the most sense.

What makes you think this type of thing is exclusive to nhl players?

Down to earth guys, loaded with money who seem to really care about others not so lucky and REALLY wanting to help out no only when the cameras are there.

Your mother is beautiful and wonderful and I want to "like" her courage (and yours) about a bajillion times.

Took the words right out of my fingers.

She is beautiful.  I can't believe she's 75.

I love the Fitbit, actually. It's the primary reason this has worked so well. I'm down 42 pounds now, and getting close to the goal -- want to hit the gym and build up muscle mass as the weather starts to cool. (That and adding equipment in the basement.)

The Fitbit + syncing with MyFitnessPal (watch calorie intake) and MapMyFitness is FANTASTIC. Can't recommend it enough. Has made this process tremendously easy.
