caps are expected to be without Alzner and Orpik tonight.. hopefully the wings can take advantage and blow them out.

5-1 wings. Pav (x2), Tatar, Larkin (x2).... Kuz for the caps.

LGW!

#2641479 Hey!

glad that a few of you all got to see this game, it was a hum-dinger.  I don't hate Weber but do wish he would not always have his way with the Wings... this time he didn't get away with it.  Best revenge = ruin his first NHL hat trick (away game... hahaha! so no hats for YOU) by beating them in OT.  Again: ha!

Larkin is the real deal, and where, oh where, would the Wings be without him right now?  I shudder to think, honestly.  Mrazzle-Dazzle had a rare bad night, but the team did what was needed and stepped up.  I could not be more proud of this team.  Missing Miller and wishing him and Pookie a quick recovery... honestly, Miller is so tough, it wouldn't have surprised me (well, maybe a little) to see him playing. ;)

All of these OT wins are becoming the new normal.  I just expect them to win in OT, since they usually do.  LOL~

Anyway, fun game, sorry if you missed it.  Holidays play havoc with the hockey watching, don't they?

Weber got one gold hat,I saw it was picked up by a wings player with his stick and dropped it into the wings bench

#2641474 What are the chances Larkin wins the Calder ?

Posted by NerveDamage on 06 December 2015 - 10:22 AM

Dylan Larkin has 21 points in 27 games -- that's one point shy of Gordie Howe's freshman mark in 58 games during 1946-47. (@Bill_Roose tweeted)

There wasn't even a normal GDT ...

Some of us believe this is the greatest GDT thread ever.

Ya those are two pretty long term injuries. Give jurco a good chance to prove himself

I'm hoping AA gets called back up.

What?!?! Miller with a broken jaw? The hit looked hard and he was pretty much a standing KO. But seriously, last year was the skate to the face and now this. Damn his luck

#2641215 12/3 GDT : Arizona Coyotes at Red Wings, 7:30 EST

I did not get a chance to watch the game last night except for the last few minutes of the third.

Looks like we had a pretty good game despite losing a couple forwards.

I am aware of Drew Miller's status insomuch that I heard he went out of the game early, but don't worry, I'm holding it together.

...and holy s***. Actually went to hockeyfights to see the Smith/Chippy fight. As Mickey said, that's as good a fight as I've seen with someone wearing a Wings jersey in years.  Early right tagged Chipchura nicely. Chipchura, the obviously better fighter, got a few in on Riley's brother, then a couple sneaky rights underneath from Brendan. Wild right that misses from Smith. They both go down.

Two consecutive games with fights... who is this team?

#2640959 December Goalie Masks

Not bad, but I liked Mrazek's snowman mask with Peter Santa Claus Griffin on the back from last year better.

Probably my favorite coach quote in a few years.
