They welcomed both Dominik Hasek and Todd Bertuzzi back, and those guys aren't the most wonderful players to have in the locker room.

It was a business decision.  The same thing as a player retiring before their contract expires.  Not a huge deal.



3.5 mill for a 3rd liner with 23 goals. is not a good player/price combo. he also only had a measley 3 assists in 7 games in the SCF.
