Don't care what we call him as long as is doesn't end being "bummer".

We may have a lot of bandwagon fans, but you have to admit, our wagon IS pretty pimp.

#2337958 Which Team Is Best Prepared To Start Season

Posted by Marty Barry on 06 January 2013 - 03:02 PM

If anyone cares, I have maintained my extraordinary gameday shape.  My beer gut is even looking better than last season and I have some personal days to burn during the late game Western Conference playoffs (day after of course).  And, the delay in the start of the season has added a few months of life to my foam finger.  Ready to rock!!!

#2334376 Has your opinion of kenny changed?

Posted by Marty Barry on 20 November 2012 - 06:00 PM

My opinion of Kenny has not changed at all. I think he played this past offseason very well. Willing to throw most of the bank at a few FA's while respecting his line in the sand moneywise. I think it played out ok. Now, these players who played the greed card are worried about getting all of the money thrown at them. Maybe he'll get a second chance at them. What if the owners get their way and don't have honor the promises they made but the players can opt out and hit FA again? Sounds fair to me. Pipedream, I know. I still have a lot of faith in Kenny and he has enough bank with me for that to last a while.

That makes 2 deadline pickups for kenny. Good job Kenny.

#2333865 Russians Possibly Staying In KHL After Lockout

Posted by Marty Barry on 11 November 2012 - 04:06 PM

No way Ovechkin stays in Russia. He likes North America too much.

In Russia North America likes you. Seriously, I believe it's just posturing on the part of our Russian players. They are using whatever leverage they believe they have to take a jab at the NHL (Buttman).

#2333403 Helm takes puck to face, has fractured cheekbone

Well if the season does start, here's our trade deadline deal. Helm returning. An easy out for Kenny.

#2330977 Who can tell me something about the Red Wings

Team souvinirs, the tv you watch the game on, and the remote used to mute Don Cherry are all made in China.

#2330499 Interesting Article about Fedorov & Yzerman

Posted by Marty Barry on 02 October 2012 - 03:14 PM

Just another "soft euro". A Canadian player would have done it himself with a drill. Just ask Don Cherry. It's cool, I have that very same litho of the Russian Five, it's autographed by all 5 guys along the bottom. Never knew this even happened and doubt it would in another sport. I would like to send this book to Cherry and highlight this portion.

#2314639 Ryan Suter agrees to 13-year, $98-mil deal with Wild

There are so many teams out there that wish they that they could experience what we deem bad news. We still have a good team and a great fanbase. Rightfully, nobody is shedding tears for us now. Our tradition, ownership, fanbase, and roster is still what other teams hope to achieve. We will continue to be a model for many to follow. GO WINGS!!!

The Suter Camp. I wish I had a camp. The kids would love that, especially in the summer. Fishing, hiking, swimming. Must be cool.

why are my letters so tiny?
