Thanks everybody! So here's the playlist I have as of this morn: (let me preface this by mentioning I am a huge 90's metal fan): -Slayer: Reign In Blood -Trick Trick ft. Eminem: Detroit City -Journey: Don't Stop Believing -Kiss: Detroit Rock City -Eminem ft. Nate Dogg (RIP) - 'Til I Collapse -Pantera: Walk (RIP Dimebag) -Kid Rock: Detroit, Michigan -Iron Maiden: Number Of The Beast (Listened to this for Holmstrom many moons ago- we would chant '96', The Number of the Beast) -Ministry: Bad Blood -The Offspring: Million Miles Away (due to an EPIC drunken convo with Johan Franzen at a San Jose bar) ...many more to be added!

This evening I'm going to be putting together my first playoff playlist of the season. Does anyone have any suggestions (other than the obligatory 'Detroit Rock City' or 'Don't Stop Believin')? Songs that get you pumped for the Red Wings when you listen to them on the way to work in the morning, on the way home, or blasting from your home stereo the 15 minutes prior to puck drop? Preferably something about slaying bears/bruins? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks! Edit: Good grief, I evidently don't know how to title a post. Can anyone help me change the title?

I would like to take .0000000000001% of that goal because, literally the second before the goal, my fiance and I took rally shots of Jameson for the tie. We started jumping around the living room like maniacs after that goal. God, I love sports. Glad we could contribute! (Just kidding!) -

Who is in San Jose? Got wasted with Larry Murphy last night! He is the coolest! Good stories to share over a pint of Guinness and a glass of Jameson.

Hey! I'll be at this game, too! Driving down the day before so I can start St. Patty's morning off right! Go Wings!

Hey guys, I'm not sure if this is the right place to be posting this or not, and if it isn't, I'm really sorry! It seemed appropriate because it pertains to the next Wings/Preds game. Anyways, as it so happens, I have an extra ticket to the Detroit/Nashville game on Saturday, April 2 in Nashville. It is 3rd row, Section 117 (The Wings shoot on this side twice, we are directly facing the face-off circle). My boyfriend and myself are making a treck out to Nashville from California for his birthday/the game and, because our buddy that is supposed to go with us is flaking, we would like the ticket to go to another Wings fan rather than scalp the ticket gameday to a Predators fan. We will definitely be pre-partying before the game and surely after the game, too, so you are welcome to hang out with us for any of said festivities if you wish. Or not. That's your call! Face value of ticket is roughly $100, but I would be willing to sell it for less, as I would like to see the ticket go to good use!

******* CHEATING BULLs***. Don't worry, with this fire under our asses, we will get our tying goal, no doubt.

spitting up teeth and no call? these ref's can't blow the whistle because the Sharks' dicks are in their mouths

Anaheim is around 10 hours from here versus the 3 hour drive to San Jose. I can't afford to miss work and/or school. It's like choosing the lesser of two evils: Miss the opportunity to watch the Wings twice a year or avoid San Jose completely. Considering we stay at the same hotel as them team when we drive into San Jose and see them at the nearby bars and restaurants, as well as the lobby and hallways of the hotel, it's a choice that suits us.

As someone from Northern California, who can pretty much only exclusively see the Wings play when they come to San Jose, the fans at these games are, by far, the sorest, most poor-sport losers I've ever encountered. I was at the two games we won at the HP Pavillion this season and both before the games, and afterwards, my boyfriend and I were berated with both personal insults as well as criticism over Detroit's economy (WTF?!). Drinks were thrown on us during the game and Sharks fans tried to get us kicked out for cheering after our team scored. We've seen the Wings play in New York, Chicago and Nashville and by far, Sharks fans are the lamest. They have such an unbelievable sense of entitlement, it's sickening.
