I was born and raised in Belgrade, Serbia. I came to the States as a young kid aged 11, and fell in love with the Russian Five.. I have been a fan since 1997.
My best experience with the team was in January 2010 when I went to see the Wings vs Kings in Los Angeles. We had a huge injury crisis but Jimmy (establishing himself as the 1st G at the time) stood on his head to record 52 saves! We were outshot 52-17 but Helm scored a gamewinner with 8 seconds left! I will never forget that moment. The whole northern part of the arena looked at us astounded.
I live in Berkeley right outside of San Francisco and really enjoy California but I'm sure to watch the Wings whenever they come on the West coast road trips.
I am passionate about a couple of things: football aka soccer, hockey, Moto GP, and Eastern European literature.
