I think seeing the grind line is almost for sure. Howe and Redmond are also pretty much guarantees i think.

i spit take when i read the title.
If his production hadn't fallen off a cliff the last two years, I could see a argument being made for his number being in the rafters. Given the last two season, I don't see it happening. Hall of Fame, probably, but no way he gets his number retired. Lids will be the next number retired.

i think abby has a lot of potential still for the team. If he stays with us, i could see him being a real leader on the team, among the players coming out of GR in the next few years.

Probably because there is more than one pre season game and Downy wont play in all of them. He's gotta get a feel for the team and a chance to maybe make the team as well.
Why are they wasting a roster spot on Aaron Downy? Why not let one of the kids play so they get a feel for the NHL?

Its really hard to say before july 1st, but i really think that the flyers are going to be contenders again. It doesn't seem like to many players will be leaving.
As much as it pains me to say, i don't see us getting past the second round of the playoffs again.
