There is no doubt Leino doesn't have much confidence and hasn't looked too good, but he has looked better lately and still has a lot of potential. I just don't think Mayers would make enough of a contribution to the team this year to warrant letting him go.

This is good news. It means that Leino is not getting the automatic playing time for no production. Very important in the sense that it keeps the idea open that he could be put on waivers AND hopefully claimed when our players are all healthy.

It's simple. Wings seating , especially in the lower levels, in the 1980s and early 1990s used to be 'true fans'. Now, firms, companies, and organizations with serious mula have bought those seats to impress clients. Those are golf clap fans. Joe Louis is very quiet now, probably top 3 quietest and calmest arenas in the league. Sad. Go to a Canadian hockey game sometime- you won't regret it, that's hockey.
