To blame their struggles this year on boredom is unrealistic.  Outside of the the first month of the season, they've been an average hockey team.  As much as I hate to say it, they're just not that good this year.

Hopefully I'm wrong and they win the whole thing, but I don't see it.

Draper had groin surgery at the beginning of the season and was out for how long?  Assuming this is not an over assumption, that wouldn't be good for the Oz, he was starting to look okay in net.  With Ozzy on the edge, Stu for 6-8, and now Filppula out until at least next week, why are our boys dropping like flies?  Who angered the hockey gods?

This thread seems stupid.

Based on "obvious and historical reasons" they should have lost Sunday, the day after Christmas when they had to fly to Minnesota and play the same day.  They also should have lost Monday the 2nd night of back-to-backs with travel in between, playing without Cleary, and starting Ozzie against a young, fast well rested team.  And then there was Wednesday which was the 3rd game in 4 days against a team that was 2 points behind us.

If the person knows anything about hockey they don't talk about plus minus as a main point, they point out how hes always in position, hes always making the right play at the right time and how hes playing against the other teams top players and still racking up points and playing great defense. His plus minus is good, but its definitely not what people who know about hockey look at to say 'Lidstrom is one of the best ever.' And from this post and your past posts you really don't know too much, Letang's +/- and points aren't because hes so good, its because hes on the ice with Crosby, I could have 20+ points and a good +/-if I were on the ice with him.

Realize I am not saying that Lids wont win the Norris. The topic is suppose to be a discussion of how Lids is having a record low plus minus year and how someone like letang is at a plus 19. I don’t care how he got it he is a plus 19. Green got votes to win a Norris. Was his plus minus a plus 39 because of his defensive play?  It was not and he still got Norris votes. Did I ever say Letangs plus minus was because he was good at defense? and my past posts have mainly been how Crosby is better than Ovechkin yet none of you exept mindfly agree. Clearly Crosby is better than Ovi.

Hey guys I am new here. I am 24 and just a fan of hockey in general got no favorite  team. I have been reading topics on here for years now and you guys seem to be smart and intelligent hockey fans and most importantly not bias well most of you are not...  Iam in a hockey pool that makes me predict the points of certain players and I am having trouble with a few so a thought I would ask you guys. Anyway I hope to post here post alot in the futcher.

How manny points do you think these players will get. Keep in mind if they are injury prone and thanks!
