Thats going to be real tough for the english speaking fans. I understand how they would want to have their names presented in the correct way, but when the vast majority of the teams income come from english speaking fans, we have to be able to read the names. It would take nothing short of learning the russian alphabet to figure out who these guys are if they were to change them. This would create a serious disconnect between players (especially new ones) and the fans. Just take a look at that Ovi pic...

Ya im happy with how they played as well. I didnt know much about either of them before recently and I had heard alot of hype about mursak. Glad to see hes living up to the hype. And damn that kid has some wheels.

Nice post. Agreed with everything said here. Does this guy realize that this is year and last year (i think) are the first couple of seasons in a while where we havent had an enforcer? Weve had may, and downey around the last few years to help keep the cheap shots away. I believe the wings will have some enforcer type players coming up in abby (who also brings skill to the table) and callahan. nothing to worry about here.
Im sick of these teams who come in with 4 roster spots of goons and think theyre the s***. ill take the banners over PIM all day long baby.

perfect situation for tomorrow:
11:30 - Arrive at Nemo's and order my first crown and coke.
11:50 - Smoke 4 cigarettes and finish my 3rd crown/coke because im so nervous about the nabby deal
12pm - Find out Nabby is a wing and take at least one shot.
1:50pm - Ride on Nemo's shuttle almost over and when slamming 5th crown/coke I nearly puke.
2:30-4:10 - Blackout period
4:45 - Wings win 18 to -4, I walk out of the Joe singing "The good ole hockey game" song.
6pm - I lose my entire paycheck at MGM but dont care because wings won
7pm - Get a few dances from my favorite girl at Bazoukis, Pocahontas.
Cant wait for tomorrow!

any reports on datsyuk and cleary coming back? the 3-4 weeks they expected is coming up soon. i was really hoping theyd be back for saturdays game so i can watch them destroy turco and the other hawks hacks.

i dont think the caps can blame HBO for the losing streak, especially when the pens were on their winning streak. it sounds more like it was coincidental that the losing streak and filming were the same time.
and how could they not do it again? i dont think there was a single hockey fan that didnt like the series. i mean, we all hate the pens it seems like, but we watched it and enjoyed it anyway. why not put the wings in there though? whats the worst that can happen? we got on an 8 game losing streak but still win the division and make the playoffs anyway? id sacrifice 2 weeks of heartache to get the back stage look on our players and their personal lives, the same players we love and cheer for every game.

haha of course babs throws a gem at the end. it looked like it was fading right at first but he musta death stared it back to the middle.
and that massage therapist, any relation to karen newman? youd think sports teams wouldnt want smoking hot massage therapist in their locker rooms everyday. could lead to some scandal. unless shes just down with keeping her mouth shut, or opening it at the "right time"

i think we struggle against east teams because we dont play them enough to get a good plan set up. i understand this works both ways, but other teams have the tendency to get up when they play us because its so rare. thats why NYI keeps beating us.

I dont think theyre giving out curly fries anymore, they changed it to jr roast beef
