#2312127 Red Wings Sign Jordin Tootoo to 3-yr deal, $1.9M/yr

I'm surprised by this.

#2311099 Hudler to test free agency

Posted by St. Michael (the Red Wing) on 29 June 2012 - 01:00 PM

This thread is funny. Replacing a 50 point person like Hudler isn't going to really happen. Problem with Hudler is he only can score. That's it, no surprise really. I rather have someone who doesn't put up the points he does that works harder, goes to the corners, FORECHECKS, plays defense, doesn't ***** (like a baby when he ditched out on us for the KHL). Sorry people Hudler decent player but his time on our team was up awhile ago. I'm ready for change even if it doesn't have a positive effect on our team for this season. Times are uh changing folks.

Pass on him too many health issuses. We've had enough of those dont need to throw another burning stick in the fire tbh. I'm sure the injury bug will be on us again this year. Last few years have been awful for us with injuries....

#2308152 Why isn't the Wild in hot water for their owner's comments?

Posted by St. Michael (the Red Wing) on 19 June 2012 - 09:50 PM

Didn't they sellout for like 10 straight years?

Judging by the games I went to and I'm sure you attended these last 2 seasons (I live in Mankato MN btw bro) Pretty sure these last two seasons they weren't selling out. Even the announcers on FSN Minnesota mentioned it.

UMAD?

#2308136 Zach Parise

Posted by St. Michael (the Red Wing) on 19 June 2012 - 08:49 PM

The same was said about the LA Kings last summer by the so called "experts". Id say Minnesota is in a better spot to win for years to come than Detroit. And it's not even close.

LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOl

And please elaborate on this? Because of Minnesota's so called deep prospect pool?

#2307951 Red Wings make contract offer to D Justin Schultz

Posted by St. Michael (the Red Wing) on 19 June 2012 - 07:30 AM

I wonder how long it will take for everyone to turn on Smith like they did with Ericsson.... The kid has Potential and a good skill set but he has played like 9 NHL games and wasn't phenomenal. People aren't being realistic and are setting themselves up for disappointment

Your post starting with this has nothing to do with Justin Schultz. Comparing Big E to Smith seriously? It's funny all the people who rag on Smith and say you have said forgot what he did with us with limited minutes. But this isn't a Smith or Big E thread now is it?

The Mods here should warn you...

#2307763 Why Evander Kane is Worth the Price

Posted by St. Michael (the Red Wing) on 17 June 2012 - 08:15 PM

Hes a potential superstar that the wings could build around for the future. Much younger than any other option. I wouldnt have any prospect off limits except maybe Smith to get him

I agree 100% with you.

#2307761 If we fail to reload with top UFAs we should?

I don't know if you can call someone who gets more ice-time than any of the Wings forwards a third liner

Why? So what if he gets more minutes than any Wings player your point is? He was the third line center on the Penguins before Crosby's concussion problems no? I don't get your point. Hence he was playing second line minutes during the playoffs and while Crosby was out. He's 24 years old and he's a stud defensively plus can he can rack up some points as well.

Best third line center in the game imo. I don't care how many minutes you play ffs. The fact is he's playing center behind Malkin and Crosby and puts up the numbers he does says a lot. Also he always seems to have a knack at usually being big against our team.

I would love to have him in the Winged Wheel jersey.

Thoughts on Jordan Staal?

Yes please. Best third line center in the game when healthy.

#2307524 Breaking Bad

Posted by St. Michael (the Red Wing) on 15 June 2012 - 12:14 PM

Excellent news. Looking forward to this. Off season for no Wings will go by fast with Breaking Bad airing :D

#2307504 Zach Parise

I'm going to laugh so hard if the Wild don't sign Parise. Seriously every hockey fan I know right now here in MN thinks the Wild are signing Parise. We shall see...

lol...any list before draft and free agency is kind of ridiculous

I agree.

#2307083 Zach Parise

Think the mods should move this thread to the rumor section. All speculation of course but i wont even bother since I saw who started the thread and he thinks he knows everything about Zach Parise and what he's going to do.

p.s K-Fan is so bad I won't even listen to it cause it's so Minnesota Sports biased obviously. Vikqueens, Twinkies, BS-Wolves and the Wild. In general Minnesota sports teams are awful and this is the state of hockey? lol.
