Hudler can still play the game!He will not stand out on the fourth line as he needs to play with the skilled players .Do you think that Modano has picked up his game the last two games is that because he is starting to feel more comfortable or maybe because he may have been the next to sit if he did not pick up his play ? Either way the boys are looking good with 4 solid lines .And I think it is just a matter of time till Hudler finds a line that he clicks with .Mabe he scores the winner tonight in a shootout and that gets the ball rolling GO WINGS

Wow people relax !Howard is our guy the Wings are just trying to give Ozzie some playing time .Howard did not have a great game against the Avs but he did have a shutout in the opener against th Ducks and he is our go to guy he proved he can play last year, he can and will win and steal games for us.As for Ozzie I agree his best days are behind him and I can't see him stealing games for us but hopefully he can play steady and get some more wins and keep Howard fresh .But he did not get the breaks last night the bounces did not go his way. Give Jimmy 80% of the games ozzie 20% and we will be just fine .

The Red wings have come to terms on a restructured deal with Pavel Datsyuk ,this new deal will save the wings 6 million in cap space and move pavel to the fourth line where he will move into the enforcer role where he seems to have a lot of fun.

The canucks have placed Darcey Hordichuk on waivers .I would love to see him in a Wing uniform he is a gamer and will take on anyone any size he doesnt win them all but he always shows up .I know its not likley this will happen but I think he could help this team with the grit toughness and work ethic .

I watched him in a couple games in Saskatoon at the world juniors although he is a very smoth player I was not overly impresed with him looked a little lazy and did a lot of floating ,although he did not get as much ice as you would expect I thought he might have been a little banged up. Having said ths you could see he has the smarts and the talent to play with the big boys it may be a matter of determination.

What are you on if you think we have been out played every game ? The play has been pretty even even though we have been in the box way to much ! The only thing you have been right about is Howard .And no its not likley but it is possible and the Wing are the team that can pull off such a come back !They have won four in a row before why not again .One game at a time I will be watching and expecting a win on thursday and thats where it starts!!!!!

Is anyone else watching this game on TSN Ray Ferraro is BRUTAL .It is so obvious that he is pulling for the cyotes it is sickining.

There are NO player that even come close to playing Homers style !! He seems to like the punishment he takes in front of the net as he never backs down .There are some players who try to play his style but he is # 1 and no one else is even close . LEAVE HIM ON THE TOP LINE MIKE AND GET HIM RESIGNED KENNY!!!!

What is wrong with the Mule ? He looks to be playing very uninspired hockey, there we times in the game last night and through the playoffs that he could have easily drove the net to create a scoring chance but instead he made soft plays with poor results. He is giving the puck away to often.We all know what he has done in past playoffs and for the Wings to go far in the playoffs we need him to get back to his old ways. Hope he comes up with a big game 6 and builds some confidence.LETS GO WINGS

Great win nice to see Hanks line pick it up , I thought after the first pentaly to Bert he played a great game showed alot of desire and determination and played a tough style of hockey just what this team needed along with adding Abby to the lineup .I also liked the way Draps played he got under their skin and was a big reason Abby got the break on his goal.Great win you need to compete not float to win in the playoffs and thats just what the Wings did last night. LIGHT EM UP AGAIN ON SUNDAY
