Looks like I was wrong on Jimmy... Although the defense FINALLY showing up I think has been the key, Howie has really showed he can be a difference maker. To bounce back like he has as a rookie netminder shows this kid is for real and all the talk about this guy being the future of the franchise is valid. All Jimmy has to be is solid as we go forward... and he has turned it around and done that after game 3. I really have a good vibe right now with the way the boys have played and if they remain healthy and play "playoff hockey" like the last 2 games and not the finesse crap like earlier in the series its hard to find a team as good or even better still going right now! We are truly blessed to have an organization like this... The team as a whole still finds ways to amaze me to this day, and to bounce back the way they have after game 3 when many other teams would have just fell apart shows why this is STILL the best franchise in the sport from top to bottom! GO WINGS!!!!!

I'd be willing to bet those numbers would be even higher if the NHL was on ESPN.

You CANNOT blame Babs for not playing Ozzie this year he had NO choice, to say that is ridiculous.. We needed the points just to get here and you were not going to get them by throwing OZZIE out there this season just to get "warmed" up for the playoffs... But in saying that its because of that we unfortunately can't go with anyone else but Howie right now... Its just been a weird year overall Howie really needs to come up big Tuesday GO WINGS!!!

We are now stuck with Howie... Ozzie hasn't played at all this year and CANNOT go with him unfortunately because of that... The defense has to step up big time which is hard and puts a lot more pressure on the team as a whole because I think Jimmy is kind of showing himself for the fraud he is right now. 11 goals in 3 games against an offensively challenged Yotes team is UNACCEPTABLE

You cannot play Ozzy at this point because Babcock had no other choice but to make his bed with Jimmy because of the way things panned out this year for the team. Coach has no choice but to stick with Howie from now on.... But a GAA of above 4.00 is NOT acceptable... I keep hearing about how he's the FRANCHISE goalie? At this point I think this is what your pretty much going to from Jimmy Howard now and into the future, Sorry but to me he is very average... Manny Legace average... But I'm really hoping that I'm wrong about Howie, GO WINGS!!! Have to have game 4 now!

Osgood does bad with no help and it's "his job to stop pucks". Howard lets in a few stinkers and does the Hasek thing letting in goals right after Wings goals and all of a sudden its not his fault "he had no help".

We all need to call a spade, a spade and bad goaltending, bad goaltending. It's literally gotten to the point where the Wings score and my first thought is "how quick til the 'Yotes get that one back?"

Bettman should contract back to about 22 teams, The league is just to watered down with all these teams in places that cannot sustain interest in the sport unless they are in the playoffs! The whole thing with Bettman and the NHL running the Coyotes right now is an utter joke!
