Wings really deserve this playoff appearance IMO. Against all odds, loosing the guys we did, behind in the standings like we were, playing so many youngsters, so many injuries. Then when we get to crunch time, Howard was outstanding, the defense picked it up, lame ducks like Franzen starting to perform, Z took over, and this team got it done down the stretch, with every game being a must win, and they did it, they pulled it off and got themselves into the playoffs. No help from anyone but themselves. Very impressive. Proud to be a Wings fan today.

Watching Dan Cleary play instead of him makes me sick to my stomach, every game.
What, you didn't enjoy cleary missing the entire net last night on a breakaway??? lol
I can't blame Tatar. Would really suck if he signed elsewhere and we lost the guy because of our own stupidity to hang onto hasbeens to aren't producing.

Wrong, other than that one bad pass to Smith that lead to a turnover after Quincey burned so much time behind the net... he's actually played a pretty good game tonight.

Why are people blaming the refs ? Kindl made one of the dumbest interference penalties I have ever seen.
True, big mistake by Kindl to touch him at all... but when he makes light contact with the guys upper body, and his feet somehow fly out from underneath him... theres a whole lot of embellishment going on there to sell it to the refs..

I dont have a problem with the suspension really, its charging all the way, and to me, looks like he leaves his feet to launch into him. I think its a good call on the NHL's part. If he doesnt leave his feet, and launch at him... then my opinion changes. But leaping up to hit the guy, really forces the body and head/neck of the guy getting hit to jump back, and potentially leading to him falling backwards to the ice... "head first"

Why does it sound like a puck hitting the pipes every few seconds? It's driving me nuts.
I'm watching FSD in HD through WOW Cable.
Not just you.. ive got the NBC sports feed, through TSN, through Bell here in canada and I hear it too. It's really annoying.
