#2533119 Wings stuff on clearance at Dick's

Posted by rrasco on 28 July 2014 - 11:52 AM

Wish I could go to the local stores and pick up bargain items.  It always freaks me out when I'm in Meijer's and there is Wings stuff all over the place.  You know, since I'm not usually in MI.

Could you just post the content instead of a link?  Not everyone can access twitter from work.

Like this, please:

Red Wings confused by today's outcome. Offered more to Niskanen, Boyle and Ehrhoff than they signed for (money and term) exploring trades.

Man, word is SJ traded Stuart to Colorado.  So much for him being with his family, unless his situation has changed.

Kings are an attractive team for any hockey player. The ownership and management are committed to keep the team competitive. Also LA is a nice place to live. I live in LA for 24 years and I can tell you that hockey is becoming very popular here. Iam sure lots of players will take discounts to come here.

Let's see what happens when/if they can no longer compete.  It's easy to like a winning team.

#2522732 TSN POY: Hertl vs Gustav Nyquist

Posted by rrasco on 04 June 2014 - 11:12 AM

Yup, TSN definitely fixed something. I've had 50 different browsers running on 3 different systems and I was surprised to only see it go up ever so slowly. Either that or an influx of the votes will be pouring in as the days go on. Who knows. They probably limited it to 1 bot per IP address, but even then, you'd think the numbers would be higher. Regardless, keep botting away lol.

Also, is anybody else finding the comments on the actual TSN Play of the Year page at the bottom  absolutely comical?

People are debating passionately back and forth coming up with hypotheses and going over every possible scenario whether or not bots are being used lmao.

One guy asked then how come Nyquist has low numbers? And some other dude responded by saying it's because the Wings fans turned them off to make it look less suspicious lmao.

Their sheer awe of our ability to organize votes and come up with scripts and have a huge fan-base on social media is pretty amusing lol. They're pissed off, but they're impressed lol.

The comments are the best part.   You should have seen them last year before people actually knew we were scripting this.

In my opinion, I don't think it is cheating anymore than using redial to call a radio station for concert tickets.  We're automating a task that gives us a better chance of success.  It is a technological resource.

Well....we can't let them out-tech us can we?

#2522105 If Renny goes to Florida, who replaces him?

Posted by rrasco on 29 May 2014 - 01:58 PM

Samuelsson would be a good powerplay coach.

Shoot the glass!!!!!

Use the window!

Just because a guy was a good player and is an agent doesn't mean he'd be a good coach.

See: Gretzky, Wayne.

Isn't it ironic that technology is the medium in which we are reading about this story yet somehow it has generated some kind of fear about how tech is taking work away from real people and diminishing history?  Technology will always replace people, it has for a hundred years.  I'm sure the tone of the article is bringing about this fear, but holy smokes people, calm down.

Point I as making if you state something back it up with a link as I don't know every single rule of the CBA and thank you for the info; guess sit back and see how this plays out

Or you could just read the OP where it was clearly stated.
