#2278197 4/4 GDT : Red Wings 3 at Blues 2 (SO)

Hey cool, I made the sensitive sally list on LGB*T! Now all 12 of their fans know who I am. Success!

I'm not quite sure what this means, but judging from previous comments right before this it seems like cprice... who i've heard is the founder of LGB, is posting and mocking quotes from here on LGB? Man... i'm sorry but cprice for you to be a founder of a website, and be their main moderator... you're doing a very childish thing. If you want to mock and have fun with it, you might as well say it directly on the board, not running back and making a joke behind closed doors. Sounds like a frickin 13 year old antic. I mean, I respect your opinion and quite frankly it appears you can and want to have intelligent conversations, but doing s*** like that especially as a founder, should be an embarrassment to yourself.

He logged off due to the insanely offensive language we tolerate here on LGW.

We're just impolite assholes because we use foul language to get our point across! Think of all the 10 year olds on this public sport forum! Save their ears and eyes!

Where is cprice?

He didn't care about this game, as neither did his team apparently. He's probably sleeping because of the lacked of effort his team displayed tonight. :sarcasm:

Bulls*** move by Disco Dan to play his 4th line and try running his players.

#2276124 Babcock's after game comments

It's not feeding the drama-hungry fans. It's calling the players out.

He doesnt need to address the players through us fans. Babcock doesnt like cameras or any sneak peek into his team. He will keep the public under one impression and i guarantee he went into that locker room singing a different tone.

#2274534 The reason The Wings shipped Mike Commodore

Posted by evilzyme on 27 March 2012 - 11:56 AM

I'm happy he decided to stay another year in college. The problem with these youngsters is the drive to play in the NHL right away, when they fail to understand the concept of development. If you honestly think this guy could just come into the NHL and be successful, well congrats, but it most likely wouldn't be that way. The development process of the Red Wings organization doesn't get mimic'ed because it doesn't work.... it's because it makes sense. We're talking a young college D-man who would be prone to make numerous turn overs and bad plays while changing to the pace. The NHL is filled with players at his level, and well beyond his level... the CCHA is not. It would be a joke, and honestly I would be pissed if his parents were talking him into going the easier route and signing with a team that would ALLOW him up that early. Sign with an organization that knows what their doing, earn your spot in the lineup, and trust me, you'll be a better player down the road. His time with the organization and development with the Griffins, would only make him better.

I wouldn't go as far to say that we are playing the way we should, but we are certainly getting back to the lineup that we're used to. Hopefully they can restore some chemistry with the last few games of the season and be ready for round 1.

#2273227 Lidstrom still out

Posted by evilzyme on 23 March 2012 - 07:35 PM

Really? And who do you have in mind to take over as Captain? Must be someone the Wings havene't acquired yet. Hand out a few more lifetime contracts and then what? NOBODY wants to play tough and go to the hard areas of thef****** ice to score. This pile of injuries has shown with Zetterberg and Lazyassed Franzen exactly what happens when players get comfy with their retirement package.

You don't think Zetterberg can handle being captain? How can you possibly say something like this... you sir, have lost your mind.

#2272958 So who could the Red Wings get in the offseason?

Posted by evilzyme on 22 March 2012 - 12:37 PM

K well if u wanna see homer sit in the press box he can return. Hes not contributing enough anymore. Cleary is going to have continuing injury issues and should be traded imo. There are players available for less money that are more effective now. Hudler is pathetic. He should be gone.

Whom is going to take a trade for a player that has known horrible medical history with his knee? I mean, the dude can barely get up stairs some days... I just don't see us shipping or someone taking that contract off of our hands. Hudler MAY be traded, depends on the potential seen by the front office and if they're content with his stay. I feel like homer would have a giant impact on Lidstroms return. And honestly, I don't care how much people talk s*** about homer, that boy busts his balls each and every night. The best image last night was straight off the face off homer just charging the crease not giving nay f*** was in his way. The boys a demolition man, and called rightfully so. You don't know how much you miss something until its gone, and how much heart and dedication that man puts in night after night... you'll miss something like that.
