#2272946 New Pavel Datsyuk interview from Dmitry Chesnokov

Posted by evilzyme on 22 March 2012 - 11:54 AM

We all know he's getting better with his english, and is being accustomed to America... but this interview was just so emotional to me. This was Pasha really speaking out for one of the first times, it seems like hes opening up more. The whole segment about his camps, and how he suggest to parents if they do come in contact with coaches that would prevent their players to go to a camp that they would benefit from to simply drop them because its a dead end. The whole segment about his parents, his love for hockey and how fresh he feels. I just liked everything about this interview, not like the normal pasha interview, but more.

#2272436 Radulov Returns

I hope Matt Cooke knocks his brain matter into 2014.

Besides the whole Matt Cooke thing getting way out of proportion especially with his recent play, I certainly wouldn't wish injury on any person regardless. Very immature thing to say...

#2272160 Alex Radulov returning nhl playoffs?

Posted by evilzyme on 20 March 2012 - 12:15 PM

Since i've just given updates, i'll tell you how I feel about the Radulov thing. I like it, and actually wanted it to happen. Should he be allowed to play in the playoffs or this season? I don't think so, and I think they're exploiting a loophole that isn't going to exist anymore after this. Anyways, I believe he left the NHL after the 08-09 season? Which means he hasn't been playing on the NHL regulation 85 x 200 ice surface, the pace of the game and passing will be affected. I'm sorry, but no matter what, changing sizes especially after being accustomed there will be a period of adjustment. I don't feel within 10 regular season games + playoffs he will be adjusted by then. What would be funny is if he really was exploiting this to get more money, got Suter and Weber to resign, and then took off for the KHL again.

Kronner needs to hold a summer camp to teach young wingers how to breakout along the boards.

To get it fixed it will require time they don't currently have. On the short scale, it's one of those things were you want to keep playing on it in fears of what it would feel like once given the chance to set in. Maybe it would lock up on him if he were to take a few days off, so he continues to just wear on it.

#2266941 What do you think needs to be done to fix the PP/PK

Posted by evilzyme on 05 March 2012 - 07:12 PM

They need to convert. Everyone is looking to assist someone else, they just need to register to shoot the puck and go for secondary chances. They're dirty, but goals don't care what they're called as long as they count.

#2264610 Brad Stuart's family issues

Posted by evilzyme on 28 February 2012 - 04:30 PM

As others have mentioned, my understanding is that it has to do with custody of his stepchildren. If Stuart's wife were to move from California she would forfeit custody rights to the child(ren) she had with her ex-husband.

So what we're getting at is his wife's ex-husband is responsible for Stuart leaving us this offseason? *******. Which leads me to believe that he most likely as an ******* before all of this!

This. Since when is everyone so up in arms at the mere mention of the Canucks?

You must not post on HFBoards frequently, come back after a week of HFB and you'll understand. Posted ImagePosted Image

#2261048 So I Met Some NHLers Yesterday

Posted by evilzyme on 23 February 2012 - 01:43 PM

Burish and Ribeiro are both little punks, and Jamie Benn is the idiot who spotpicked Kindl and ran Conklin last week.

I'm surprised Steve Ott wasn't sitting with them.

He's still trying to find his way into the Winged Wheel :yowza: :hehe:

#2261047 Patrick Eaves injury

Posted by evilzyme on 23 February 2012 - 01:42 PM

Patrick Eaves (concussion) unsure of if he'll play again this season; Pavel Datsyuk (knee) looking for tickets to Florida

Ughhh, thats no good. I miss that beautiful hair flowing through the air. Poor Pattie Eaves.

Oh gosh, seriously just no. I like the guy, he's been fantastic for us over so many years, but he's done.

To each his own view, but let it be known... you don't realize how much you miss an element until it's gone.

#2260944 2008 Red Wings

Haha, Datsyuk... How the hell do you not have a favorite player growing up? He must not have had a TV :-/.

In mother Russia, TV own you.

#2260629 Bertuzzi Contract Extension

Posted by evilzyme on 22 February 2012 - 12:49 PM

TWO YEARS? WITH A RAISE?

You have to bef****** kidding me. He has THIRTY GOD DAMN POINTS and plays with DATSYUK.

This sucks.

There's more to hockey than just production, but hey who would know that? Not everyone's goal on the ice is to SCORE SCORE SCORE. There IS such a thing as roles in hockey.

#2260625 2/23 GDT : Canucks 4 at Red Wings 3 (SO)

Like the previous two posters, I too, was very confused at the date. I had to ensure today was Wednesday not Thursday. Damn you!!!

#2260588 Kyle Quincey traded to Detroit in 3 team trade (TBL & COL)

Posted by evilzyme on 22 February 2012 - 11:02 AM

Two things about this...

13 games for Quincey were in the playoffs.

Other thing... we eventually have to move a player... we have 24 players on the roster and we can only have 23 total... I am guessing Pavel is on IR now... otherwise we would be in violation of the limit. We have to expose someone to waivers or move a player off the roster... This is what makes me so very angry. This could cost us Kindl, or Mursak, or Emmerton, or whatever.

What if they waive Commodore? I mean what then? the whole point was to get depth at d and we end up with an offensive d man instead of a defensive one? Shrugs. I fear we will regret this even more when it ends up that we lost another player on top of the first round pick...

For the last time, trade deadline removes the 23 roster limit.
