Who'd have thought there would be two players named Petr Sykora? That's wonky. Of course the way I presented it was rather skewed, but it's essentially true. What was very weird was how Holland traded the pics that became fake Sykora, Comrie, and some other schlub (three draft picks) for Doug Brown, who they just gave up on waivers!

Wow so Holland gave up: Petr Sykora, Patrick Sharp, Alexei Ponikarovsky, Mike Green, Thomas Fleischmann, Mike Comrie, and Mike Knuble for ... Jamie Macoun, Doug Brown, Stefan Liv, and Robert Lang???

Well, the Ottawa Senators are actually a classic team. They won Stanley Cups in 1906 and 1910 and were in the NHL until 1934.

I've been thinking about the talk of realignment after next season, and I think I have come up with a really solid plan. Obviously looking for input/feedback. Do away with the conferences. Just have 4 divisions. Seed the playoffs 1 to 16. Talk about great rivalries in these divisions!
