#2566381 1/27 GDT : Red Wings 5 at Panthers 4

I think the wheels are officially on the bus!

Now they've got to make them go round and round.

7uon6o just got pulled. That's a good start.

Way to go, Luke!

#2566204 Larkin or Mantha?

I have a feeling that moving Nyquist or Tatar, unless we absolutely fleeced the other GM, would come back to bite the Wings in a big way.

I get the Yzerman-Fedorov point, though a more appropriate analogy may be Hull and Oates. The idea of a line of Larkin centering Mantha and Pulkkinen if they max their potential is pretty sick. I'd say keep them both.

#2566070 Petry next Oiler to be shopped - FTLOG Kenny, get it done!

Although, I definitely can see Ouellet sticking with the Wings full time to start next season, and he probably should, I definitely wouldn't be at all surprised if he started the year once again down in Grand Rapids... To say you'd be surprised that a 22 year old kid stays in Grand Rapids for another year is a bit of stretch don't ya think? As far as I know Ken Holland is still managing this team... Seriously though, who was the last 22 year old defenseman to make the Red Wings full time? I can't recall anyone making this team that young...

My first guess was Mathieu Dandenault, born in 1976 and played 65 games in the 1996-1997 season, 34 the previous season. My second guess was Jiri Fischer, born 1980. He played 52 games in 1999-2000 but also spent time in the AHL, 55 in 2000-2001 again spending time in the AHL, and 80 in 2001-2002 e obvious answer is Lidstrom, but he was a generational talent that is not a fair comparison, born 1970 and playing 80 games in 1991-1992. Still, it has happened before. DeKeyser came close.

My gut says Ouellet will get sent down because he can, but I wouldn't be surprised if he stayed up.

#2565847 NHL Player Tracking System

Can it track a bad pass by a goalie?

That would be the "JUCK F***ING POTT"! ;)

In all seriousness, I do agree with roboturner that using it for determining if a puck actually crossed the goal line could be a good thing. Heck, anything to offset the incompetence of on-ice officials would be good.

After they lose to the Pens in back to back Winter Classics and Edzo forsakes them by openly rooting for the Pens and calling out the Hawks for subtle interference.

I've only been on here since last summer, and it was already an ongoing joke by then, so apparently I missed something awesome.

"Mam, this is an elementary school spelling contest. Could you please go back to your seat and refrain from any further outbursts?"

Having participated in the 1986 National Spelling Bee, I found this way too funny. I'm glad I don't have to deal with the parental outbursts at my choir concerts.

For some reason, the Wheelz on the bus bit made me think of the "JUCK F***ING POTT!!!1!" poster from a while back.

#2565503 The Maple Leafs finally put a quality product on the ice...

Montreal did it better, proving once again that Toronto is and will always be Canada's #2

Depends on what your comparing them to.

Don't some people refer to crap as #2?

Not looking forward to the shootout, but the Wings completely folded in the third. I'd love to see Mrazek give someone the Hasek on Gaborik treatment.

Time to lock it down. That's enough standing around and letting them get back into it.
