Nyquist completed a 2-on-1 with Sheahan
Quincey's shot from the point deflected off a Pred's player's keister, the ice, then past Hutton
Tatar made a nice low shot from the circle that Hutton never even saw
A lot of it stems, imho, from other announcers, (especially Olczyk) who are just jealous of the sustained success of the Wings for over two decades. For years, the Blackhawks were, for all purposes, irrelevant to post season discussions. They were able to draft Toews and Kane so high because they, as a team, sucked so hard for several seasons. Olczyk coached the Pens briefly, and had a record that only Mike Milbury could love (31-64-8-10). I wonder how many of those losses were due to "suttal intahfurrants"
Holy crap! Centcougar! I could not remember that guys name! I remember when he was here pretending to be a Wings fan talking about how we may or may not land the Olsen Twins that year! I also remember outing him when I stumbled across him on a Wild Forum using the same name! That was great times! Even though he was right about the Wild getting them, but it was awesome to out him on our forum! Dude, just be a Wild fan, we don't care!
Seriously. That was awesome when you outed him. The irony was he'd have been welcome as a Wild fan if he wanted to actually talk hockey. Some serious insecurity there.
I personally like when other team's fans come by to talk hockey and not be jerks. A certain Predators fan is pretty awesome about that, and I like the"outsider's" perspective. Trolls, on the other hand, can GTFO.
Disappointing to go to OT with the gratuitous lack of officiating excellence. DeKeyser was interfered with to help create the scoring chance. Lots of other shenanigans by the Blues let go. The no goal and posts hurt.
I hope they come out with a serious mad-on for OT and end it quick.
