And forsberg got himself the press first ever playoff hat trick.
Good stuff.
Congratulations young force-berg.

Gotta think that was his big middle finger for not being voted for the Calder.

#2580177 Preds don't postpone game, but get fan experience right

Living in TN, I get to see a lot of Preds games here broadcasted locally, they are a strong squad, control games, and have the tools to go deep in the playoffs.

I know it's tough for this being a Wings fan site to have a strong opinion of another team that you may or may not watch too often, but they built their team the right way and I think they can contend and go pretty deep.

I also don't hate the trades they did make, I think the inevitable regular season losing skid came at the wrong time with the addition of their two new players, but long term, both will contribute in their own way. Santorelli was relatively strong on a weak Toronto squad, and Franson is a guy we would have liked to see here.

I'll boldly predict conference finals. I also don't feel they are THE best team in the league, but I also don't rule them out of a potential conference final in the playoffs this season. They are better than some people here are giving them credit for. These games the Wings play against teams and seem to be lopsided, putting us on our heels, the Preds have done that against a lot of teams in a lot of games this year, good teams among lesser squads as well. They can dominate and control a game pretty firmly, and it happened without Rinne between the pipes also.

With failing teams in the South like Phoenix, I like to see Nashville thriving, competing, and attracting fans. It's good for the sport.

There going as far as Rinne will take them, probably 1st round only.

Shey Weber and Roman Josi have something to say about that too

I honestly believe that somebody made a deal with aliens to abduct the actual preds had been winning all season and replace these guys that have been losing 5 games in a row.  :alien2:

Don't worry, I'm fairly certain every year the wings won the cup they had a 5-7 game losing streak during the regular season. The adversity better prepares you for the playoffs.

Ha.
Silver lining.
But How do you get around without a license?

In Louisiana they saddle and ride gators to the store.

Kudos to Nashville to making it a good experience; yes the snow amount may be less, but habitants in the south are not use to driving in weather with this much snow.

As for exchanges or refunds for other franchises, maybe theh could learn something?

Nashville has the chance to be the first team to hit 90 points and have had 4 games to do so. They will probably get it next game, but I think the wings taking away that no back to back losses (such a sweet sweet honour) and becoming the only team left to not lose back to back in regulation made them butt hurt.

Also can we get a round of applause for Montreal being shutout 4-0 by the sharks

you know not all their fans are not  morons

True. Fans like you are cool.

But the whole Preds team ARE insufferable douchebags.

If Nashville keeps winning they will put up their first ever banner at Bridgestone Arena.

Well, they did put up their OWN 7th man banner a while back but it counts not.

So,I heard the Stanley Cup is in Nashville today,Does that mean that the preds get to keep it :w00t:   :yahoo:  :shout:

If, and only if, the wings don't win it this year, I hope the press do.
But I hope we destroy the preds tonight, and every game we play them for the rest of all time.

I'm with you on 5/8. I think I'd actually prefer Nashville, Vancouver, and Ottawa to win.
