#2564158 1/17 GDT : Predators 2 at Red Wings 5

Everyone keeps saying it's not a testing game cause no rinne. We didn't have Howard. So it was pretty even, battle of the backups

I'm over the Zetterberg thing. Have been for years. Don't really care.

That said, I have to say that fight was underwhelming.

@Aaron3675: How delicious is that, Spezza scoring on the @PredsNHL after he said lawl no thanks to them over the summer.

@PredsNHL: . @Aaron3675 not as delicious as being 14 points ahead of the Stars in the standings but go on ahead...

ZERO CHILL

Ziiiiiing. Good for Preds nation.

Just heard announcer at end of Det - Edm game say that Nash and Det are the only 2 teams that have not lost 2 in a row in regulation time.  Was kind of surprised to hear that.

Being a southerner and no Atlanta team to pull for the Preds are a sub team to cheer for. Also my brother and I met Peter Laviolette at the All Star game when it was in Atlanta he was really nice and accomodating let us take pics with him. My bro is a flyers fan so he liked pete from the flyer days. Good for nash and pete and southern hockey.

Also glad to have her around I like the updates a lot and Rinne has gone through a lot so it's nice seeing him back to his standards which are elite. Jossi and Jones are two exciting young defenders and with Sarros waiting they are set in goal for a long time.

I don't think the masses are going to give the Preds respect of truly being a force until they make some real noise in the playoffs. Maybe this is the year.

Yah, really impressed with Preds and the job that Laviolette is doing.  Surprised to be honest.  Barry Trotz on the other hand is having a bit of a harder time with Princess Ovi.

Big blow to the Pens but more importantly I wish him a speedy recovery and hopefully he gets back to full health soon.

#2550875 Toronto Fans Sing American National Anthem

There might be some smack talk between us during the winter Olympics. But after the displays in Pittsburgh and now Toronto, It's pretty clear we have each others backs, and view each other as brothers.
