Lavi's daughter's turtle tweeted,not  sure how though

Anyone else running around chanting "WE'RE #1, WE'RE #1!"? I would, but my run is more of a craw and my chant is more of a whisper. #Preds

love this tweet also:

If the Predators are #1 in the NHL, that means Gold is on the Ceiling.

'Seventh Man' Making a Difference in Nashville

The support of the Seventh Man has always been present when the Nashville Predators take to the ice in Music City. This season’s 99.2 percent capacity mark when the Preds skate at Bridgestone Arena only backs up that claim.

That support culminated on Dec. 30 against St. Louis, when the franchise set a mark for the largest recorded capacity crowd in Predators history. 17,410 fans saw the Preds defeat the Blues that night, in one of Nashville’s 14 home wins.

The Predators are 14-2-1 at home on the campaign. No NHL club has fewer losses in their own barn this season

Yah, really impressed with Preds and the job that Laviolette is doing.  Surprised to be honest.  Barry Trotz on the other hand is having a bit of a harder time with Princess Ovi.

the preds had their largest attendance in franchise history against the blues last night,17,401

#2532259 Australian Ice Hockey?

Posted by PredsFanTheBayouState on 16 July 2014 - 01:31 PM

It's a scrappy little league.. The videos are fun - if not a bit - ODD.

http://www.thehockey...hairy-are-they/

i watch the Australian ice hockey, because our minor team down here in louisiana has two players that are playing in the league this season. It is  semi-professional league. Typically this means that players are not paid to play in the AIHL, but receive other benefits such as the use of a car, accommodation, flights/travel within Australia, and other benefits. Often these benefits are supplied or funded by sponsors and vary from team to team.

The  games are shorter than typical hockey games, consisting of two 15-minute periods and a 20 minute 3rd, instead of three 20-minute periods that are usually played under normal North American and IIHF hockey regulations.
