Stupid pass, hit was devastating but it looked clean. I'm totally confused by the penalty? I've never heard of a 5 minute penalty for interference??? And a game misconduct for interference? I hate those kinda hits because they can end a career legal or not.

Jimmy Howard lost us this game. As he has many others. Most overrated goaltender in the league.

Bulls***. I can count the number of bad games he's had this season on one hand. Goaltending is not this team's problem by any stretch of the imagination.

Great signing by the RW's. yes it will take him some time to adjust to the NHL. he needs some practice just to learn everyones moves, habits, and the communications on ice. No rush. That does give us 10 Dmen now, so yes some one or ones will be moved in some form or another.

This was DD'd biggest day of his life to date, and HE had all the right to due it whatever way HE wanted to. This day was all about HIM not any of us. You only get one first pro contract. It is kinda like your first kiss, first "time" first job, first love etc.....

Will be curious to see how the glut at D will be resolved.  How ironic that everyone thought our defense was decimated and now we seem to have an abundance of young, talented defensemen, with even more solid prospects waiting in the wings.  Not bad for management that doesn't plan for the future.

E has to Galliardi into next year on that dump in horrible. Bad bounce but it could have been avoided.

Can we keep the talk about Murphy's alleged alcoholism to a minimum? I know it doesn't really violate any forum rules, and it's just an honest discussion, but we have no indication whatsoever that he has a drinking problem.  For all we know he's a teetotaler.  I'd hate to see LGW become known as the forum that dragged Larry Murphy's name through the mud for no reason whatsoever.

The Red Wings have been very sloppy in the neutral zone all game. Gotta get the puck deep instead of these continued turnovers.
