Maybe because Modano just got here after being courted all summer and hasn't bailed on us in the past for big money in the KHL? Just a guess.That's bulls***. Modano should have been the healthy scratch. You have to wonder if they're giving Mike special treatment.

Booools***. Shoulder to shoulder. Plus Brown's stick is clearly in Antii's view before the hit so I would even argue "blind" side hit. He knew it was coming. This crap is getting ridiculous.

This and don't forget Fistric's "legal" hit to Franzen in the Dallas game. Selanne saw him there and did nothing to protect himself. What's Kronner supposed to do let him go by with the puck or dive at his knees? Good hit, f*** the Ducks.Those hits from the Blackhawks in that second game this year were way worse. Also have seen worse offenses to the head from other guys in other games so far this year. Suspensions from them: ZERO. Only suspension I have seen is on that jackass Rypien.
So much for the NHL cracking down on head shot and unnecessary blind side hits.
(And yes, I am quite upset at the leagues inability to properly enforce their rules and regulations)

The call on Perry was not weak. That f***** knew where he was on the ice, was leaving for a line change and tried to take Franzen out of the play. I don't believe for a second that it was unintentional and that Perry didn't see him. It was a pick plain and simple. Interference. Good call ref!
