Depends on the goal. If your linemates did all the work and you were in the right place at the right time. Then no solo celabration. If you just deked a top pair defensemen and roofed it topshelf. Rock on!

Driving to game 4 of the Wings-Sharks series last year, I told my wife "well at least we get to see the last Wings game of the year"

They might have lost that series, but this team proved to me then that its loaded with heart and character thats not always easy to see. I'm not overconfident as a Wing fan, but you'd be nuts to be overconfident as a Preds fan.

Getting healthy and getting on a roll is way more important than who they play in the first.

If they lose like you suggest and continue the struggles, than we all know how the playoffs are going to unfold anyway.

Crosby was apparently just about "ready to go" late last year and then all that s*** was happening with Matt Cooke

as far as keeping it quiet...every week there's a new article on Crosby as though we're gonna forget his NHL God. they're publicizing every time he takes a painkiller for christ sake. look back on TSN's recent articles for NHL. there's enought to write a book on blindside hits and concussions.

So a team that was good enough to go 7 games with Tampa, let the 2nd best player in the league sit to prove a point? Pure genius.

That's sad news.

I dislike Crosby (Hate the Pens) as much as the next guy, but he is undeniably one of the most gifted players in the game.

I always really thought he would mature as he got older and become an Yzerman,Sakic, Lidstrom type of personality. People often forget just how young he is, 24 or 25. I'm sure we were all such gentleman at that age.
