Radio hockey is the worst.

From what I hear, the wings dominated until the Ducks first penalty and then kind of faded. Good to be up a goal, but it's not at all comfortable.

I agree, but they are still throwing absolutely harmless shots. Most miss. Others are logo hunters with no screen. They need to keep it up, but get pissed off.

Yes, you can't score if you don't hit the net. White hard shots that completely missed, and Hank had another that could have been a good chance. If they keep throwing shots on, they'll score. You don't have to get perfect chance. Sometimes all it takes is a redirect off someone's leg, or a knuckler that the goalies doesn't see.

Staying out of the box was key to this game. The stupid play by Miller puts Detroit down early, in their own home. It's really s***ty playing from behind 5 minutes into the game.

Can't wait for this game. If the Wings can stay out of the box, they win this on their own ice. I think the penalty killing wore the defense out last game. Hope Howard continues to dominate, and Franzen/Bertuzzi stay in Beast Mode.

I find it absolutely pathetic that when a good clean hit occurs (Kronwall leveling Havlet, hit in Rangers game at end of year), it gives players the right to cheap shot the guy who delivers a clean hit. Somehow the NHL applauds retaliatory acts (guy getting mad and smashing someone's head into glass), but seems to come down hard on cleaner non (or less)-intentional big hits (player leaves his feet, guy has head down causing head-first contact). Come on. Playing hockey at full speed, making split second decisions is one thing, but ignoring this goon-like behavior is absolutely appalling.

Hank initiated it.  Yeah, Weber did not need to slam his head into the glass, but I doubt he'll be suspended. Bert had a chance to do something, but did not. Maybe he didn't see the play, but I doubt he would of done anything even if he had. This team is neutered. But there is next game. Let's see how this team responds. Here's my bet: nobody on Detroit get's in Weber's face. That's easy money!

it was the same thing but about 100x harder, weber knows that there is a different culture nowadays which is why he didn't use a ton of force.
