Aye our best slapshots on PP come from Kronner or Z.
Dekeyser shot is meh and Smith is average. I'll admit, I haven't really watched Green on the PP in Washington. Is his slapshot realgud?
If Smith fails this season under Blash, I stick to my stance on him. Overrated and over hyped by the fans. But I truly hope he does well.

Green has a good slapshot and a great one timer. He actually takes a lot of wrist shots from the point too. Pretty much just shoots it every chance he gets. Realgud.
I wonder who smith will play with this year. He would probably do well with Dekeyser but green is already slated in that spot and is better suited for the top 4 role anyway. I can't see smith and kindl being trusted to play together on a line so I would guess that Quincey takes a spot on that line and either smith or kindl sits

We weren't looking for a defensive defenseman. Every defenseman we have is stellar defensively aside from smith's frequent mistakes and E's occasional mistakes. Kenny knows exactly what he's paying for with Green

Does it matter if we overpayed? They're short term contracts and we have the cap space to afford it short term. Their contracts will come off the books in time for our young players to start getting raises

3 years 6 million. I'm happy. High cost doesnt matter as much because of the shorter term

Agreed. Would be awesome. Maybe those club-footed neanderthals want some speed up front? Helm?
Of course Eklund also say Wings and Kings bidding on Oduya. Which is not nearly as exciting.

He had been yaking about Kessel going to Pittsburgh for at least the last week. Also, he had Martin going to either San Jose or LA. Maybe his sources are getting better?

It has been well known for a while that Pittsburgh was going hard after Kessel. Not like he was going out on a limb and not like he was the first to report it
