Not a terrible period by the Wings, but the Hawks were probably the better team in that one. Officiating is horrible. Kronwall needs to put a bomb from the point home for his first goal of the post-season.

One really big surprise this year, for me at least, is just how absolutely horrible Smith has been. I'm not saying he won't develop and become better because I know it is his first year, but he has been very bad IMO, offensively invisible and a defensive liability.

Such a tough loss. If only Nyquist buried that breakaway....It's going to be a tough fight to get into the playoffs, but getting in is just to maintain the playoff streak. It's highly unlikely they will make it out of the first round.

Man Eddie O is such an idiot...all the players had their hands pointing up when Toews shot it out...it's like he's never seen the delay of game penalty one receives when they flick it over the glass. Makes the game unbearable to watch.

Can anyone explain to me why Abdelkader is on the top PP line? I mean was Babcock so impressed with that empty net goal that he wants him on the ice as much as possible? Put Brunner out there....the mindset of Babcock is mind boggling.

Surprised Datsyuk's line isn't producing...I blame Datsyuk I mean he is centering two future hall of famers....unbelievable wake up Babcock...play Tatar, Andersson, hell Quincey could probably score with Datsyuk as a line mate.

Look on the bright side, we will be able to beat Columbus this year.....oh they are tied with Nashville after two....well okay. Look on the other bright side, we have a good chance to get Seth Jones.
