Several countries are offering to help. The U.S. government have as yet not accepted the said offers.

I heard that Australia has donated 7.5 Mil to the red cross relieve effort and Germany has tapped its oil reserves as per request of the US. Both were on google news (various sources) and/or CNN.

Forgot to mention that Ive bought a 52 inch plasma screen TV for the place, and will be ordering center ice. All Wings games will be shown.

Have you done a business plan for this venture? It seems strange to me to expect that an ice cream palor would attract people wanting to watch TV or hockey games. That is more of a restaurant/bar type environment. In fact, ice cream parlor to me is a place I go and get ice cream and in some instances sit down there while I eat it, but I wouldn't say that I'd be compelled to spend much time in there. Further, in a bar customers would keep ordering drinks/food while the game is on, but do you think people will keep ordering ice cream during the game? So essentially you'd have a whole bunch of people staying for close to 3 hours that bought an item or two.

Just some ideas that will hopefully help. Obviously I haven't read about your entire business venture but that is what came to my mind immediately.

Good luck!

Two more semesters left at the University of North Texas. Likely will attend the University of Texas at Dallas for my MS.

In Topic: Mac or Windows?

I'd probably go with a Windows machine as my first and foremost computer, for the plain fact of hard and software support. Windows is just a convinience and I can't really say that I find a performance difference between a high powered MAC or Windows machine. Both are fine with me.

I do like the MAC laptops a lot and will likely opt for one soon. I like MAC OSXs sleek design and functionality.

I certainly wouldn't say that nobody cares about Linux, in fact, I have used several Linux distrubitions on my laptops over the years and I liked all of them a lot. Problem is finding drivers for older hardware, but these days most devices offer Linux drivers. I really like the SUsE distribution. Comes with a ton of stuff and has a sleek destop.
